Apparently they were not happy with the idiocy of having such article in the first place, they also had to show they have no idea what they are talking about.

@SPArcheon That is actually a common misconception about getting rich: Generally speaking, if you rise in wealth class, your expenses to maintain the outward appearance of that wealth also rise

Originally, they planned for Mona to be just poor, struggling to have enough money.

Because rising in wealth class generally means you're less likely to keep spending time with your former friends group for various reasons, and more likely to spend time with other people with similar wealth. Which means more expensive hobbies, more expensive vacations and food, more expensive vehicles etc

So now she HAS enough money to pay for a quite elegant house and tons of very expensive alchemical apparatus, but in order to save ... she saves money on food

Weird question of the day.
The RetroN 5 came out in 2013. Retron SQ came out quite a bit afterward. Yet for some reason I saw a lot of people saying SQ emulation of GBA is very poor, while I didn't saw the same negativity with RetroN 5. Does the older model really work that better?

(yep, I was looking into some GBA hardware emulation options)

I have come across multiple chests that will not let me open them. They have an eye in the middle which looks at me when I get close.

@Nzall On one side of the coin, you can make a "male body type" with a "male voice type" and select the "witches" dormitory and have the game recognize them as female, which isn't the best form of non-binary identity support but... best than Pokemon Scarlet at least.

One of the main "companion" characters comes from Matabeleland, so again at least some attempt at having story relevant, positive characters from different origins was made.

on the other side... I assume the author still gets royalties on the game despite having done nothing.

Also ironic in a way. I was interested in the game because of the design despite having never read Potter, so if they just made a generic "you are a wizard student in a magic school" it would have changed nothing for me.

But to many fans the game is good because "Harry", not because it is actually a decent game past that.

I wonder... what would have happened if instead of Potter they made a Little Witch Academia game with this design...

@SPArcheon not sure how it would work given Hexside isn't really as prominent to the overall plot compared to Hogwarts. (Luz even point out how stupid their version of Quidditch is)

though getting to explore a rotting giant might be interesting. we saw how interesting the world can be when set on a giant in Xenoblade Chronicles
