also some people on discord have reported getting a slew of authentication request codes they never requested. so if you have a Twitch Account, good idea to change your password to be safe
sort of concerning in my opinion is this codenamed Vapor, Amazon Game Studio's version of Steam. the concerning part is that Amazon has the money to follow Epic's example and get exclusivity deals
not only is exclusivity on PC stupid but Amazon does use DRM on their digital products (or books at least) so i would expect Vapor to lock every game with DRM
and not "you got to use Vapor to download and launch", i mean entirely single player game requires online access to play
@Wipqozn someone noted on discord that those numbers would be just what they make on Twitch and doesn't account for offsite donations, sponsorships and merch sales
What I hate about these numbers being out is that people will be WELL YOU ARE MAKING MILLIONS, YOU SHILL
conveniently ignoring that shit like critical role is a business, that has staff and a lot of expenses to put on the show
Like the days where they could just turn on their cameras and stream a bit are long gone
Pretty sure all streamers on that list are working uncountable hours, 7 days a week
Notable names for me: Bruce Greene and Ray Navarez... both ex Rooster Teeth employees, and if you consider those numbers, probably do a lot more than if they were still employed by RT
Really wonder what is the deal with that KnowNothingTV that has a flat 0
Oh that's a fun one. The cool thing too is that you might not even know it's happening for who knows how long because what are the chances someone's down there to even know about it.
We had a leak in our wall, only when the shower was on, for literally years and the only reason we found it is because we had our bathroom redone so the wall had to be opened for unrelated reasons.
That's legit. I got really lucky with my location with the last hurricane that hit NJ, but my sister's house was temporarily on an island and a lot of her neighbors were just underwater.
The downtown area got like 25 feet of flooding or something ludicrous.
@Yuuki I sanded down and redid the varnish on my outside windows that are still wood this summer... I was insecure for WEEKS about not putting enough varnish
until some peeps from DIY informed me that usually, a window is completely isolated from the house, so even if the window rots, it doesn't put everything in danger
but yeah I'll have to build my temp shelter for my car in a few weeks and that is annoying af until there is snow to weigh it down.
