@Ash there's several uses, and depends on what exactly you get. The one I got has two chips in one, one can emulate a bunch of low frequency stuff, I plan to use that to enter day job's office. High frequency side will likely just have a meme or smth. There's also ones with LEDs that light up when you're near an NFC field. I got one of those but didn't get it implanted today.

I might get another high frequency one that does better emulation and use that for another place that uses NFC for access control

@Memor-X deep as in? It just sits right under the skin, so it's visible from outside. RFID fields also supply power, which is how it's powered.

Cilantro is a pretty traditional garnish on many Chinese noodles, but you can sub it for Chinese celery which looks similarly pretty

It's definitely an eye-opening difference from what I've absorbed from American cuisine, which is almost solely about taste, to see how much importance is placed on non-flavor components of food, from texture/mouthfeel to visual appeal.

Also arguably plating and presentation does matter in western cuisine too
