you can sometimes clean the contacts with a solution of a bit of baking soda in a bit of water. if you put it on a q-tip and kind of rub it on the contacts, it can remove battery acid.

@LessPop_MoreFizz well, any downloaded game and game saves are on the hard drive. I've got a 60gb I think, and I've never really hurt for space, so long as I don't install every disc and leave it installed.

(installing games from disc is optional, unlike many ps3 titles :( )

I'd say if you don't want the blu ray player, and you don't want to play ps3-exclusive titles, the 360's the superior choice.

Optional, although the disc spin on some games makes it a necessity for me. Not a big deal to swap games out so you only have what you're playing at the time on there, though. Don't think I'm anywhere close to my 200 GB cap.

@LessPop_MoreFizz they sell the drives separately, although I think as a package it's cheaper. You can also use external storage (up to 16GB per attached USB device) although I don't think it works for everything.

@LessPopMoreFizz You can plug a USB flash drive into the 4 GB, or two, or ten. There is of course the port limit, which I think is 3, but the point is you can save everything on flash drives if you like. You can also now save games to the cloud, which I do, although storage is very limited (but save games are generally small). Saving games to the HDD, or lots of XBLA is not as nice with the 4 GB.

@LessPopMoreFizz In older models, it was easy to switch the HDD for a larger size. Although I think the largest size was not enormous. My elite is 120 GB. The new 4 GB has an internal drive, so the best interface for external storage is USB as far as I know. That may mean you'll have to move stuff back and forth if you get an external drive. I'm not sure whether or not the USB can keep up, though it's conceivable that it could.

Q: At what rate do Zerg units regenerate HP in Brood War?

I remember they regenerate at a uniform rate over time, but what is that rate in HP/s? Do all units regenerate at the same rate? Do units and building regenerate at the same rate?

Q: Can't alt tab back ingame

but that was mainly because I went into my DX:HR experience expecting a cross breed between Invisible War and Call of Duty

and Skyrim was a fun game, even though it didn't hold my interest long enough for me to do the side quests

while RAGE caused exactly what it said on the box (rage)

i think that most questions under framerate should be retagged performance or have the tag removed altogether (leaving the game tag in place)

The system will automatically flag messages as low-quality if they meet a certain criteria, which I believe is based largely on length.

Depending on how quickly focus fills + how long the "no unscoping" thing lasts it could be really useful for clearly out groups.

It just looks like an attempt to correct the failure that was the bazaar bargain.
