What luck for me to have been here at this milestone.

So, sometime ago I think I mentioned I was going home and a stray dog followed me and laid in front of my house. Long story short it is not a stray dog anymore and I have a dog.

Well, it's less "same audience" for some people and more "I only have a limited amount of time and funds, so I can only buy 1 game per month and the rest is for when it's discounted"

Changing the subject a bit, is anyone else checking for the easter egg hunt in COD4?

Its a game that has no appeal to me, but I like to see streamers play it.

Is that game just a battle royale mode or is there more to it? I've only seen streamers doing battle royale.

I've never played a battle royale game and I have no intention of ever trying. It sounds like the antithesis multiplayer mode to what I like.

@InvaderSkoodge There is a Zombie mode where you fight hordes of zombies (Like killing floor) but with areas that react differently depending on certain "tasks" you do. But such tasks are not straightforward and you have to scavenge the map for tips and etc.

That reminds me of L4D, which was amazing but only because I played with my friends. I kind of wanted to get Vermintide 2 but wouldn't have been playing with friends so it probably wouldn't have been as good.

@InvaderSkoodge L4D has a "go from point A to point B while dealing with zombies". Killing Floor is like "This is the map. Walk around the map and survive the zombies"

I thought season 2 of Iron Fist was better, so I was kind of surprised that they cancelled it after that

Does anyone here have any suggestions for good police procedurals on Netflix?

well, I say good, but I actually mean something like CSI or Bones or Navy NCIS or something like that

so, more in the "entertaining and hyperactive American show" good

Quantico isn't exactly a police procedural, but I thought it was pretty good

Blacklist is good, and James Spader is really good in it

I also enjoy Blindspot, but I don't remember if it's on Netflix

@murgatroid99 I've tried Blacklist, but I don't like series where they go all "we don't do things by the book". Quantico and Blindspot aren't on Netflix in Belgium

There's also Deception, but I don't think that's on Netflix either

There is actually not a lot on Belgium, really, and it's not going to improve soon now that the EU decided that Netflix apparently needs to have at least 30% European series, so for every 3 American series they add they need to add a European one

Q: What is the use of the Party Points currency?

you have to set the rules at the start of the game, when your create the world. Not just before the USA gets a cultural victory

Occasionally, Caffrey doesn't really play by the rules but the difference is that he doesn't kill. And several episodes revolve around the fact that he's basically sitting on information that they can't use.

I believe there's also some of that superhero comic stuff that is similar in concept to what I'm looking for: small teams that have single-episode adventures with a season arc

There's one that I remember, I think it's called Alphas.

It was all right, from what I recall, but I wasn't really a fan of the meta-plot.

Royal Pains is a good medical procedural.

Ah man, I remember having access to USA back when Psych, White Collar, Burn Notice, and Royal Pains were all running at the same time.

Literally the best channel on TV.

Person of Interest is also kind of a procedural the first 2-3 seasons, and then turns into something quite different

Of those 4 series, the only one on Netflix in Belgium is White Collar

And STILL major studios are surprised and shocked that we decide to pirate stuff

Q: Does getting tons of levels waste XP?

If I have 200 levels and enchant something, does it take 3 levels like enchanting at 30 levels does? I ask this because it gets really hard to get more levels the higher you get and getting high levels seems like a waste.
