Also, the description for closing as a duplicate reads "This question covers exactly the same ground as earlier questions on this topic; its answers may be merged with another identical question." As the question you asked is/can be covered by answers to the other, it is not inappropriate to close as a duplicate in this case.

@Rachel I'm sorry, but I disagree in this case. The question you asked will not elicit answers that are functionally or drastically different from the pre-existing question. Rotating and zooming has been covered in the answers to the pre-existing one. We like to have canonical answers in one place, not spread over several questions.

@Rachel I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying. So you don't want to have to read through an accepted answer on a question to find the information you are looking for?

What colors are available, where to find them, how to determine the dye color of an item, etc. I would rather have multiple questions asked, each addressing a specific question and providing a specific answer, instead of having one answer written with all the information together and having to read through unrelated information to find the answer to my question.

@Rachel Well, the thing is is that we handle that organically with how the questions end up being asked. Sometimes, we'll end up with a more complete umbrella question first, and we will then close subsequent questions as being covered by that. We're not against having those separate types of questions, but if a more complete answer can be given in one question, in general, it will take precedence over several piecemeal questions in order to have all the information in one place.

Janna's Eye of the Storm provides a shield that absorbs damage and gives a boost to AD. Suppose Janna shields an ally with a hexdrinker; would Janna's shield have to be destroyed before hexdrinker would be triggered? If Lux and Janna both shielded an ally, which shield would be consumed first?
