If all the row/column hints are greyed out you've solved the whole thing (since there's only one valid solution that satisfies all the hints)

But there's not currently any checking for "is this specific bit correct"

That and some ability to select and download more puzzles are next on my list

Generally what I'm used to is a thing where you can press "check solution" or similar and it tells you which parts you have wrong, but it won't tell you unless you ask

And there's a bonus for solving it without ever using that button

@Ash it's not actually possible in this test pattern because it only has the hints in the file, not the actual grid, but it should be possible for most puzzles!

I was thinking of having it as a toggleable mode -- in one setting you have to explicitly ask for checking and then it tells you everything you did wrong, in the other setting as soon as you place an incorrect tile it flashes red or something and the mistakes counter goes up.

I also want it to flash pretty colours when you finish the pattern.

So I figured the Index didn't have matchmaking and they just give you specters to work with.

It's a tricky situation deciding whether to go pub queue or premade squad. Sometimes the premade works better, and other times the premades are people who want to be carried while the people who can actually do the thing are in public queue.

I can tell that made you uncomfortable, and it was pointed out to me you may not be alone in that, so sorry for it. To be honest I didn't even think about it, since well frankly, when I was a regular user it didn't bother me at all. I forget that not others have the same "comfort zone" as me when it comes to people messing around with them, and it's gotten me in hot water before...

...so sorry if that edit has made you, or anyone else, uncomfortable.

I mean, the amount of jokes and memes in chat at my expense are pretty high (you got no idea how many times I wake up to 20+ joke pings), and I just go "lol whatever", but not everyone rolls with stuff like me soooooo yeah, I'll be more aware of that in the future.
