@badp i got vs Zombies because it's Lady Blanc's game (though she had to share the title with Neptune). even if it plays bad i will push through for Lady Blanc's sake

@badp well yeh, it was grindy especially when it came to getting the Legendary Weapons but i liked the combo making system and hearing Lady White Heart swear her head off for over a minute as she whales on them.

but Re;Birth 1 was still better because the story was more fleshed out especially with Arfoire's role and her past and all the Doki Doki Shoujo Ai/Yuri moments between IF and Vert (which is only barely hinted on in the original game. no Very hidng away her Hand Warmers and using IF instead or that elevator part where IF dies in paradise)

@badp i kinda figure Nepture would do that which is why i hope HyperTagmenion isn't really Lady Blanc's Game and that we see a proper one before Vert's comes out

though that assume Neptune didn't steal spotlights in Noire's game

@badp yeh, from what i hear Neptune is made out to be more deranged in the english dub so if you want real Neptune you'd play it with the japanese dubs

and i have no problem with Vert x IF being Be;Birth only. in later games Vert has Chika

Don't expect any returning character other than the 8 main goddesses

@badp from what i recall V is still set in the 2nd Hyperdimension but most of it is set in an alternate version of the world that Neptune ends up in. V2 the center universe is set in the 2nd Hyperdimension but again Neptune ends up in alternate version of the world's future and the main bad guy is hiding out in another one

atleast from my understanding. i havn't played past Re;Birth 2 yet (still got to grind the Shares for the other National Endings before going for the True/Human and Sword endings)

@badp oh that. i thought the requirements get to be a bitch to do after # New Game +'s. i skimmed what it generally is and it's more of a bad end and i'm just after the Trophy (plan to finish with the True End). but that's the Conquest Ending which i include as a Sword Ending because the Holy Sword Ending is the same requirement + Lily Ranks. is the Holy Sword Ending just as bad?

the holy sword ending is the uplifting alternative to the series of events in the conquest ending.

if you're playing for the achievements you have to rather be careful about the sequence of playthroughs and what dungeons are available in which playthrough and which items only become available in NG+/NG++/NG+++ or which items are only available in a specific ending

it's really kinda stupid and definitely the worst part about Reb2.

you definitely are meant to do all of the endings on the same game file, one after the other.

and I don't know what the proper or optimal order is.

@badp from my understanding the only item/dungeon change is in the True End where you have more Chapters. most endings is just having Shares and Lily Ranks before the final battle and not meeting the requirements for the True End. Sword Endings is just seeing Chipper Events and accepting a sword later on

the human/maker/country ends or whatever are more or less the same, just different cutscenes

@badp well i only did the True End in Mk. II so i knew about the extra chapters in the True Route but if Sword Endings have different dungeons i'll only grind them enough to get what i need for the Oracles plans (then again i already unlocked Mina so Team Lowee is complete anyway). there's more than enough plans to get that Trophy in the True Route

It's been a long while but some of the plans definitely require stuff that you can only get in either of the exclusive chapters
