What does ruin this setup is that metro must run on the primary monitor and newly launched apps go by default there, hiding what's in the 5/6ths side of the scree.
@RavenDreamer Yeah, I figured that if someone searches through my history to find it, then they must be really interested in me, and I wouldn't really mind talking to them.
IE10 is gone from your computer? BEST THING THAT COULD EVER HAPPEN. exept maybe peace for all humans. or the death of IE7. or receiving a free copy of Mass Effect 3. or just adding another or to this sentence.
When I play the 'quick battle' offline mode of Soul Calibur V, I get the impression that I'm fighting real player's characters being controlled by the game's AI. Some of these characters behave wildly different from one another, to the point that it almost feels like I'm fighting actual human pl...
Politoed is an evolution from Poliwhirl when traded holding a King's Rock. It is one of Poliwag's final forms, the other being Poliwrath.
in Bulbapedia says some moves can only be learned by breeding, and this is my question.
When you Breed and evolution Pokemon, you will always get the first e...
@Lazers Please tell me its not gotten to the point where you have to trade a pokemon while holding an item to power it up... cause.. just... /facepalm...
@murgatroid99 Having methods besides leveling, no problem.. That particular one.. trading while holding an item? seems like... well Id have to be reallllly drunk in a brain storming session to go Woo Yeah! Lets go with that!!!
@murgatroid99 While I generally like the pokemon games and that genre overall (Really looking forward to the latest Final Fantasy since that seems to come into play a bit)
I am overall annoyed at the forced buy two copies of the game to get all the content of the game
That to me was the start of what everyone complains about now as Day 1 DLC
@James Anyway, getting every single pokemon in the entire pokedex is not exactly main story content. I don't think I have ever played a pokemon game in which I got every pokemon.
@James That's pretty impressive. But now I am confused. You don't like having to buy multiple games to get all of the content, but you got all of the first gen pokemon games
@ArdaXi True, which is why I was arguing against your claim that you had a proof
Anyway, your proof only holds if we assume that humans will exist for all of eternity and will spend all of that time running detailed computer simulations
@ArdaXi I still don't see how that follows. Moore's Law should imply that given enough time, every computer should be powerful enough to run such simulations
I am currently playing Pokemon LeafGreen on a gameboy emulator. Is there any way to catch all the pokemons?
I understand that to get all the pokemons, you need to trade to get pokemons that is not found in LeafGreen(does anybody have a source which lists all the possible pokemons that can be obt...
@murgatroid99 True, but given Moore's law it stands to reason that we can eventually run a simpler version of our universe at a timestep faster than real-time.
You'll never reach infinity, of course, but you'll get pretty close to P = 0.
So in theory, p = 0. In practice, it will only come close.
It should be noted, however, that this fact applies to most of physics.
@murgatroid99 I would think that the odds of no sentient life form ever using the capability to run simulations despite having ready access to it similarly approaches zero.
Hey guys, I see you're all in an intense conversation haha and I don't mean to interrupt but do you guys have any suggestions for a quick recap on ME1 and ME2? I've played each through a few times but I'm just looking for a refresher before Tuesday.
@Wipqozn found ME one, didn't find ME2, maybe I'll try again. Thanks though. Just trying to watch a couple different videos and read some stuff. Hard game to forget anything from but last playthrough of the two was over a year ago.
I recently found a dungeon in minecraft, and I have decided to make an XP farm out of it. From watching youtubers do it, I know that you need to have an 8x8 hole around the spawner to maximize spawning space. Because this is an even number and there is only one (1x1) spawner, the spawner cannot b...
While I was playing Minecraft, my computer (running Ubuntu) crashed and my game I was playing got corrupted. I've managed to trace the problem to the level.dat and the level.dat_old files. All the code in these files have been erased. Is there a way that I can get back the old code and thus resto...
I recently sold my Gameboy, but I now regret it because I want to play Pokemon :P. I have no clue where I could find an emulator though... I want to play Pokemon 1st gen if it matters, could anyone suggest an emulator?
Start of turn 6 Farfetch'd used Fury Attack! Ullallulloo's Blastoise lost 5% of its health! Ullallulloo's Blastoise lost 4% of its health! Hit 2 times! Ullallulloo's Blastoise fainted!
Start of turn 5 Fredy31's Farfetch'd used Fury Attack! Blastoise lost 20 HP! (5% of its health) Blastoise lost 18 HP! (4% of its health) Blastoise lost 18 HP! (4% of its health) Blastoise lost 19 HP! (5% of its health) Blastoise lost 20 HP! (5% of its health) Hit 5 times!
I made a few teams in that about a year ago. I don't have any time to play right now, but maybe I'll try to dig it up later this weekend and see what I came up with.
There is a trophy for Payday: The Heist called Federal Crime. The trophy description is:
Defeat 25 FBI agents in a row.
I am wondering if I need to get all 25 kills in one game or can I kill 15 agents in a row in one game and then 10 in a row at the start of another.
The in-game challen...
There's a few assertions that have been made that I'd like to challenge.
There are "good" and "bad" ITGs, and really, we just need to sort them better.
One thing that has been brought up repeatedly is that there are "good" ITGs and there are "bad" ITGs. All we need to do is downvote and close ...

What factors would drive a choice between choosing to build a Magian Trials weapon that gives "Double Attack" vs one that gives "Occ. Attacks Twice"?
My thought has been: would "+Double Attack" be more compelling for jobs/subjobs that already give a "Double Attack" ability, in which case, that's...
