I recently got a used iPad to do some "mobile" gaming. I want to move some of my in-progress games from my iPhone to the iPad. I don't want to do a full restore because the devices have dramatically different storage sizes (the iPhone backup probably wouldn't "fit"). I also intend to set up the i...
I've got a 6-player X-Men Arcade cabinet and I was wondering what other boards might be compatible with it. Can I use any Jamma compatible board and will the dual monitors just mirror? Are they actually any other 6-player, dual screen games out there?
@GodEmperorDune Well, how else are you going to hire top-shelf server ops? It's not like you can just shanghai them into service, that's being an oppressive- oh wait.
> Each participant will have to sign a document before taking part in the show and will be told that the laws of the Russian federation do apply meaning that, if there is proof of criminal activity, "the police will come and take you away". Oh, that's fine, then.
I am running Debian on my vServer. I have installed the Garrys Mod server using Steam CMD. I try to run it via
./srcds_run -console -game garrysmod +maxplayers +host_workshop_collection 252617757 -authkey ################################
It seems to start normally, the only thing weird is that...
I recently purchased the 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VII. I've noticed a few things while playing through it that are different than the Dragon Warrior VII PSone release in the mid 2000's. What exactly are the major changes or additions to the 3DS version compared to the PS one version.
In Fallout 4, is there any way to "fix" Takahashi (the noodle Protectron in Diamond City) so that he can speak English to the Sole Survivor? Or is he broken forever?
So over the holidays, I've decided to go retro and play some old games, one of which is the LEGOLAND game. I set up a virtual machine with windows XP on it, because most old games run just fine on it, and the main OS on my computer is Ubuntu, so no windows games there. I inserted the disk, instal...
"There is a child sex ring run by hillary clinton in the basement of a pizza shop that does not have a basement and it's totally real and anyone who denies it is lying and if you see me deny it it's a fake don't believe him"
can anyone explain this meme about "if you don't count california, trump won the popular vote"? if you cherry pick a subset you can come to whatever conclusion you want
I know California is a state & we have to count it, but if you remove CA, Trump won the popular vote by 1.4 million
http://www.investors.com/politics/commentary/its-official-clintons-popular-vote-win-came-entirely-from-california/
@Unionhawk It doesn't even do that though. If everyone moved to California except like 49 people who spread out among the other states, California alone would decide the Electoral College with 78% of the electors.
Proposed Q&A site for a SE site for solving Data analysis problems with small monetary rewards. I think it would
a) promote freelance data-analysis,
b)match businesses with people,
c)and most importantly create a little extra income for starting data-scientists.
Proposal: Data-jobs forum with rewards up to 100$
I think such a site can co-exist with the rest of SE because a lot of people need answers urgently and cannot rely on good-willed volunteers. Please don't downvote.
Reasoning: I wish there was a site for solving Data analysis problems with a si...
> Overall, then, the count at the end of the day Monday was: 304 for Trump, 227 for Clinton, 3 for Colin Powell, and 1 each for Bernie Sanders, John Kasich, Ron Paul, and Faith Spotted Eagle.
> Meanwhile, the three Powell votes were cast as part of an effort from a group called the Hamilton Electors to throw their support to a moderate Republican, in hopes that some Trump-pledged electors would follow.
i think in the end the world will have to follow suit of fiction, either create a bunch of WEAPONs and hope we don't have spike haired teens to kill them....or make a call to the other celestial bodies to send the Aristoteles to try and wipe us out
So, I just updated to 1.11.1 and decided to go on my friend's realm to test all the new stuff out. When I do, it says "Minecraft now updated, you're still at 1.11" but when I look at the home screen it says "Minecraft 1.11.1" in the bottom left corner. I've tried restarting my computer, and loggi...
Each category of Magnum Opus (car) upgrades is different in that some categories require sequential updates and others don't. I'd prefer to save the scrap by skipping upgrades where possible (upgrading right to the final version), but it's hard to tell which I can skip from the requirements alone...
So I have this server I find really enjoying for creative, but recently it's stopped working. I have full bars of internet on my computer but for that one specific server it says "Cannot Connect To Server" but all my other server's are ok. I am not using the wrong minecraft version as this has ju...
> “We’ve never seen this kind of wealth in the White House, and so traditional rules don’t work,” Gingrich said during a panel discussion on “The Diane Rehm Show.” “We’re going to have to think up a whole new approach.”
So what you're saying is that the president has affluenza?
I have a horrible laptop and to poor to get a good PC right now and I want to edit my videos for YouTube so is there any way I can edit that's cheap and easy to make them look good
Guys, if you get something in review that looks like spam, flag it as spam! Leaving NAA comments on it is just ridiculous, and if enough people flag as spam it will get deleted automagically without us mods having to chase it.
@GodEmperorDune but i would have thought that had would have something to do with bluefeet...like spamming their question/answers with comment pings, not commenting on spam
@Memor-X "This year there are no secret hats for tormenting incessantly poking SE employees under a post. Blame our lawyers; they did not like the idea of staff being poked or tormented for hats."
Peter Thiel said to be playing key role in filling health, science posts under Trump https://www.statnews.com/2016/12/20/peter-thiel-donald-trump-science/ via @statnews
@Unionhawk it wasn't up to him, he probably made things as hard to undo as possible but congress tied his hands on a lot of stuff
not to mention, trump is unlikely to follow the tradition of "the next president doesn't usually come in and piss all over his predecessor" just like he ignores most of the other presidential traditions
> Obama relied on a 63-year-old law to make his moves, which will prevent future leasing of certain offshore areas for oil rights. His successor, Donald Trump, who has promised a policy allowing more US energy production, would face legal challenges if he attempted to reverse Obama's order.
Like, this would normally just be an environmental protection measure but since Trump doesn't seem to believe the environment exists, it's also spike strips to try to make damage harder
@GodEmperorDune i thought that was why he was reconsidering totally scrapping Obama Care and insted reviewing it to see what could be kept. it's not pissing all over it if he changes it a bit to make it better
@Memor-X the problem with slightly modifying obamacare is that certain parts of it are very fragile, so if you mess with those (like the individual mandate) without replacing it with something that does the same thing (and is just as likely to be disliked) then the whole thing collapses
and you get a bunch of stories on the news about person X who died because their obamacare plan discontinued thanks to congressman Y
just like there were a bunch of stories about how obamacare made person Z not able to afford insurance anymore
more likely they will try to do something delayed so that by the time it explodes they've already been re-elected and hope that no one remembers that they set the fuse in the first place
and the sad thing is that delay tactics like that usually work
