it worked for us, even though we got a lot of crap getting legal documents changed

every agency was like "i need to speak to the supervisor"

so we literally had to print out the part of the law that said we could do it

And maybe in another couple, someone chooses to take the other person's family name. There is nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their own reasons and, ultimately, marriage is not anyone's business other than the couple's.
