@Chippies WELL IT IS IRREFUTABLE THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW IF THE GAME IS GOING TO GET SUPPORTED GOING FORWARD, DESPITE BLIZZARD'S VERY GOOD HISTORY IN THIS REGARD
if you already knew the future, you'd know that you would have bought overwatch anyway since you have reached the point where you need to be talked out of it
ugh Reddit... pretty much everyone says it doesn't support 21:9 and then there's a couple that says it works in 21:9, even though not officially supported
this is why the game runs at a resolution of 3×4 at 4 tints of grayscale, which is only slightly better than what you can see when you have vision but your eyelids are permanently closed
the funny thing is that people commenting on that post are saying how without an fov slider, people with wider screens have an advantage, so they gave people an fov slider and removed ultrawide support
@twobugs maybe not, but having a wider fov is not that big of an advantage compared to, for example, running the game at 100+ fps compared to sub-30 fps (i.e having an expensive gpu)
anyways, it just shows that 1) blizzard isn't very reliable on their "promises" and 2) maybe they actually listen to the players, considering that (supposedly) they have added the fov slider
@twobugs proper support requires plenty of UI reworking
@twobugs I didn't say it was bad, but it's not the first time they say they won't do something because it's an unfair advantage and then they do it anyway
IOW you should get the game in order to rally people to give overwatch minisentries all of the hitpoints, and drink all of the delicious tears afterwards
@KevinvanderVelden I just watched an old beta video of the slider being changed, it seemed pretty low even on max settings, but there were no actual numbers indicating what fov it is at. Do you find the fov good and are you somewhat sensitive to low fov in fps's?
