Let me rephrase. Violating terms of service can always bring sanctions on the user doing the violation. That is serious business, and I really think related topics here in gaming should mention that. But as long as we do not directly encourage people to break the law - and breaking ToS is not always the same as breaking the law, as far as I know - I really do think we should judge these topics based around whether they harm other gamers.

@GnomeSlice They do. Nintendo dislikes and tries to fight any unlicensed Nintendo approved anything.

All that said, maybe some of the things are beyond some red line. But my red line is just about gamers. I think the admins (Jeff etc.) should be responsible to red lines of legality.

@Mana I don't see how that prevents us from replying "You could do with Homebrew, but be aware that it's a gray legal topic at best and you'll void your warranty and what not. If you do that, you're on your own."
