Im looking for a game like Destruction Derby II, where you crash, injure and kill your opponent and you win points or something for that, or you can race as a normal race. Please only for PC
Thanks in advance
@GnomeSlice That seems like flawed advice. You have to sleep sometime, right? Better to get someone to go in halvsies with you on the tank, so that they are equally invested, and willing to run shifts to protect the tank from Repo Men.
@GnomeSlice Yes, that is definitely one of the construction hat bots from mega man
I almost missed it, but this box is one of the switches like you see in the first tutorial level. I hit it with my bionic arm, and there was a satisfying clunk, but I have no idea what it did. Did it change something waaaay back down at the bottom of the level?

I'm looking at a minion assassin mission in Assassin's Creed: Revelations and it says the rewards is that
The Assassins will take control of this city.
Does that have any tangible benefits?
Some of the assassin missions in Assassin's Creed:Revelations offer "-X% Templar Control".
What does this mean? What is templar control and why do I want to keep it low?
In Skyrim, I've had multiple occasions where my followers have remarked, "I don't like the looks of this." and every time, I've ended up going into a battle where I've died multiple times. It's almost as if the follower knew I didn't have the experience needed to win the fight.
Is it just 'some...
@John The second half of the sentence is messed up
I know a real brit would be able to phrase that in tear-inducing clarity and no [insert here the correct term for subphrases, was it dependent clauses?] in probably half the words
@badp Well you know what they say: "The sun never set on The British Empire. Because God didn't trust the British in the dark."
:P
@GraceNote @GnomeSlice What's with the sudden interest in Nitrome?

So I found this website for a game I liked as a kid, and they listed a map pack for two of their games was available. I was like oh, that's kinda neat, they added to their games. Nope. Map pack = actual paper maps. XD
In the castle at the start of the game, there are several items (a table, a bookcase, a stack of books) that are highlighted and give you an "interact" option. Doing so causes a ghost or memory of Altair to appear in the room and do some gesturing.
Does interacting with these objects have any ga...
Every once in a while, a templar stalker will come and attempt to take my life (and will always be unsuccessful ;).
Are there any conditions for when they do attack me? Is it completely random? Is there any way for me to see them nearby so I can attack first?
The last time I was attacked, I n...
In the last part of the first DNA section, you're in a small village searching for the Templar leader. The optional objective for this section is to kill 5 enemies from haystacks.
There are a couple haystacks along the path to the final fight, but I wasn't able to get 5 kills from them. There ar...
Blerg. For some reason the camera in AC Revelations spontaneously starts spinning to the right every minute or so. I don't know if it's my controller or the game wigging out
When Ezio gets the hookblade in Constantinople, there is an optional objective to climb the tower in 60 seconds. I have tried this quite a few times, but my best runs are still 5-10 seconds too slow.
I've basically just been following the route the other assassin takes and mashing the hook-jump ...
I played the game on a 286, so it is pretty old.
It was a lot like the famous Dyna Blaster. You looked from the top at a game field, battled enemies and blew blocks away.
There were stationary, rotating blades that killed you if you came near them. I remember the first two levels being in a cast...
At one point during the French Chateau chapter, Nate & Sully come across a body of one of Talbot's men that is heavily decayed. Sully questions how it was possible for the body to be so decayed as Talbot and his men "just got there".
While I was hoping this would be explained as the game wen...
As I was running through the first or second memory in Constantinople, I received a notification saying "Revenue Deposit made: xxxx V in the bank vault.
Where do I collect this revenue? I looked around the Assassin HQ and found some chests, but nothing that appeared to be a vault.
I'm not very far into Constantinople, but I've already collected a lot of bomb ingredients. However, I don't seem to be able to do anything with them.
I assume at some point I'll be able to make bombs. Do I have to go somewhere to do this? When does the option first become available?
Skyrim is great during the gameplay but I dont like the menus at all. The problem is there are scenarios where I need to switch whole sets of armor, rings, necklaces and weapons.
For eg, I start quests with sneaking around, for that I use the nightingale armor and use detect life spell + soul tr...
At random points, while playing (never while changing levels), Battlefield 3 will freeze and crash, and it happens every time I play, sometimes 2-3 times a night (so, within 2-3 hours of gameplay).
Has it happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix this?
All my drivers and Origin are u...
Lately, I've been playing as assassin with a pair of daggers, taking advantage of my x30 damage multiplier from a stealth hit and 100 stealth skill. But unfortunately, when the dragon decides to land, I'm always already discovered and have to fight him in plain sight, which results in very hard f...
I am currently playing Icewind Dale Gold, an outstanding D&D based dungeon crawler. It works with almost no problems on my Pentium IV 2.93GHz Prescott, 1.5GB RAM DDR2 and Radeon HD4650 1GB PciE, running Windows XP SP3 and DirectX 9.0c.
However, there is only one minor issue that I was not a...
I am using two daggers at the moment, however swords are significantly higher in damage. I can still get my 15x damage modifier on backstabs if I use my dagger.
Is the attack speed significantly different when I swap one dagger for a sword?
Is there anything else I need to take into considerati...
Final presentation for my class in a little over 2 hours. I'm rather concerned since one person in my group is very unreliable.
Also, he sent us an encrypted file with our presentation, but not the key to decrypt it.
Oh, it looks like he did was just send something which can only be opened on macs, even though most of the users in our group don't use Macs.
This is why I hate groups.
Oh good, it also seems he didn't make the requested changes to our prototype for today. That is to say he didn't finish it. Good thing a large portion of our grade doesn't depend on this. Oh, wait, it does.
I hate group work.
Oh, and the video someone made for our group is terrible. you can barely see what is going on.
@GraceNote Were the Gaming Grant reimbursements sent out yet? I thought you said they were sent out last night, but I have yet to receive mine for Skyward Sword.
I am leveling a conjuration sneaky archer (Sneak + bound bow + summons if needed).
Two questions:
1 - Is Bound Bow (with conjuration perks0 + archer perks) better than Daedric Bow (with archer perks). Consider that Bound Bow cannot be enchanted, but poisons do work.
2- Which one should i level t...
Looking down at the sewer like area (in front of the spinning wheel) close to where you find the second fire keeper soul guarded by those "fire dogs" you can see lurking shadow with a moving tail. If you move to the platform the shadow is nowhere to be seen. It is only visible if you look down on...
In my experience I find that opponents with elemental weapons fares way better towards me (I'm lvl 61, using a +5 Channeler's trident with 50 INT) than those that don't.
Is it better to have a scaling B, A or S rank weapon and pump levels into needed stat or have an elemental (fire or elemental)...
In the quest Discerning the Transmundane I received an Elder Scroll.
This is great and all, and who doesn't want to own an Elder Scroll, but the problem is that it weighs 20 (pounds? kilos? I'm not sure) and is marked as a quest item, causing me to be unable to store it in a chest etc.
Is there...
It seems that the High Templar is weaker in SC2, particularly, the storm's damage is weaker, the spell duration is quicker, and the AOE is smaller, than it was on SC1.
How can I use High Templars effectively in Starcraft 2, despite these changes?
To start, I'm not asking how many followers I can have at one time. I know that's been asked before a few times.
I'm wondering if there is a finite number of followers available through the world who will follow me? It seems like there is at least one in each towns inn, and then some others arou...
In Two worlds 1 I have no problem to activate the teleporters in the north. But in the south the teleporters looks little bit different and won't activate.
Is there a quest I need to finish to be able to activate these (in the south)?
Thanks.
@FallenAngelEyes, I think this is correct now. I've been blowing people's junk off for the past few days. Many testicles died to bring you this information.
I did some more research on this last night:
I only seem to be able to do this on guys. I haven't yet gotten a nutshot on a female gang member or police officer. I don't know that it is impossible, but it's at least much harder.
Try to shoot at them when they're facing you. If they turn to t...
I don't know about everyone else, but I find the new 3d maps in Skyrim to be difficult to navigate, especially since you can't rotate all around the map or zoom all the way out. Is it possible to revert to a simpler, 2D map, similar to the ones in Oblivion?
I was wondering if by attacking bare handed, you increase your 1-hand (or 2-hands) weapon skill mastery.
And viceversa if that weapon's branch perks apply therefore to unarmed attacks.
Since there are items like armored gloves and skills like Iron Fists that boost unarmed combat, I thought the d...
What I'm wondering is: if anyone can suggest a strategy to keep the game from becoming about building an overwhelming Army, but instead about smaller (and perhaps simultaneous) engagements?
After watching some VODs online I've noticed that army sizes increase as the game progresses. Which makes...
I've been playing King's Bounty for a while now and have picked myself up a wife.
I was very surprised when she asked me to have a child, but since I did not want to upset her (luckily I don't apply this game-logic in the real world) I went along with it.
So after a while I embraced a new virtua...
Is there a simple way to spread units out without retreating in StarCraft 2?
What I want here is to make it harder for splash damage to occur on units, but also easier to select my own units if they need to attack specific targets. For instance, when attacking a structure with marines they will...
@GnomeSlice I'd been wondering about that. I'd opted for Amazon, and hadn't seen it yet. Was gonna wait for tonight and see if it arrived and try to conact someone had it not. I hate to even ask about it, being a "gift" of sorts, but I also wonder if maybe the seller/amazon just never shipped.
Somewhere I read about targeting priority. For instance, if you focus fire on a Probe, and after it dies you army will continue to kill Probes, but when suddenly Zealots show up, the units will automatically start targeting the Zealots because it has a higher targeting priority? Is this true? ...
I've been playing Batman: Arkham City and there is a Riddler Proximity Mine in the Secret Corridor in Wonder City. I've tried to disable it using the Disruptor (as suggested in the answer to my previous question about disabling Proximity Mines) but it doesn't work. I've also tried to find a way t...
After defeating the Wall of Flesh, corruption is spreading much faster and bypasses sunflowers. Are there any other methods of halting it than hallowing?
I'm from Mauritius, I want to buy an xbox but I don't know which one to buy. Can you just guide me on the several choices I have such as elite??
That also, I don't understand the specification of an xbox, should I see it graphics card, hard disk like a pc??
I have seen several types of xbox som...
There are some places in the city where enemies always spawn. Some examples include in the tunnel under the prison, right in front of the hospital, or on the plane wing sticking out of the trash town.
Is there such a spawn point that happens to place the enemies on top of a building somewhere?

I would like to point out for the record that I have no particular affinity for the governing bodies of the parcel of land that I occupy currently and/or occupied at my time of birth. I find the whole thing rather silly.
Nah, I love DST. First off it proves that CET is indeed the correct earth time, given that even the Brits who are supposed to be the guys to made this stuff from ground up use it six months per year
they cover it up behind a convenience acronym of BST to hide their shame
they're like "what were we thinking! We totally should've claimed that timezone for ourselves instead!"
and then they take it anyway.
Also a sunset at 8pm makes me happier than a sunrise at silly-o-clock in the morning, but that's just me.
Steam recently patched Skyrim while I wasn't paying attention. Now my .ini settings have been blown away and my vertical mouse sensitivity is almost 0. I know I can copy my .ini files to a separate backup folder and copy them back, but I'd like to avoid having to do this for each patch.
How can...
As the Romulans asked it, I took the opportunity to declare war onto the Cardassians. For the most part the get a hold of Bandi which were right at my borders. As it's the nature of the Cardassians, they had taken the Bandi by force, so I needed to liberate the system.
So far so good, the Bandi ...
