They do it to stop hackers. It's a basic firewall. You can delete it by connecting your phone to a PC. Also, you can edit your units and gold etc. by cut and pasting files. This worked for me on Android. This should work on iOS.

The hard part of the whole thing is the recording, they've done that.

Not hard to change the recordings to go into a stream rather than a file...
