I have owned four of their mice, one of their keyboards, and one of their gaming pad surfaces. The mice all start to have tracking issues within a year. The keyboard had z,x, and c all starting to 'stick' after a while through no fault of my own.

The only thing that holds up is the mouse pad. Because it's a mouse pad.

A friend of mine had trouble with his Razer headset, for example, and when he was talking to CS, even though he pointed out the problem and linked them to their own product page for comparison, the CS rep said still claimed it wasn't happening (some of the LEDS had gone out, even though they were supposed to be functioning).

@MadMAxJr Yeah, they replaced a G35 for free for me as well after one of the ear cups broke off. I contacted them only asking if they sold a replacement part so I could fix it myself and they just said they'd send a new one. I have to contact them again actually, because I've got cracking, I think like you've just described, on the ear mount on the new one. :/ Like I said, hardware's not what it used to be, but the CS is pretty great on replacements and stuff.

Plus I live in the EU, so 2 year warranties.

It's a 1 year in the US, but I was happy to hear them not even flinch about the issue and just offering to replace it.

Yeah, my experiences with Logitech CS have always been positive. I only hear nightmare stories about Razer's.

I tried to sort out an issue with the scroll wheel on my Razer Naga with their support and they asked me to disassemble the mouse, pop out the scroll wheel, clean the the entire area around the notch it sets in. I got it open and found the wheel difficult to remove and commented. They replied, "Sometimes it sticks, force it out."
