Keaanu's comment in this question brings up a good point.

Which games have "Minus/Glitch Worlds"...
In playing Street Fighter 3 (3rd strike), I see the opponents blocking my attacks all the time so it doesn't do any damage. What buttons do I need to press to do this myself? (i.e high punch, med punch, up, down, etc.)
Lately, I've started seeing this a lot in my Minecraft server log:
Attempted to place a tile entity where there was no entity tile!
Sometimes I see it a lot, sometimes not at all.
What does it mean?

I'm looking for a game that I used to play when I was quite a bit younger, so the details are a bit hazy. It was a game that came on a floppy I think, and the goal of the game was to direct a laser beam across reflectors to reach some sort of goal (can't remember, maybe to break something). The r...
Do bosses in Dark Souls scale to your level?
i.e. fighting a certain boss at level 20 would be the same difficulty as fighting that same boss at level 50.
Thanks.
In the description for the Battlefield 3 mode Conquest, it's noted that when either team has less than half of the bases in their possession, they will "bleed", or lose, Tickets over time. How quickly does this happen? Does it occur at a set rate? If there are five bases and all five are captured...

I've tried researching this one on my own and I've come up with several different answers depending on the site I'm checking. I'd like some solid information on obtaining unique charms in Diablo 2. There are three in total: Annihilus, Gheed's Fortune, and the Hellfire Torch.
Can I find unique c...
Because League of Legends was voted lord of the flies or something, all its saprophytic users have apparently been given a 10-win IP boost.
How does the IP boost work? How can I get the best use out of it; just play 5v5 games, or is there no difference between the game types?
@Lazers Anecdotally, I got 120-140 from the IP boost on Normal 5v5, and only ~80 on any other mode.
I have no idea what the mechanics are behind it, but honestly, once I figured out that I got a significantly larger amount for playing 5v5, I just stuck with it until I expended all my wins
I may have also just had a really quick game, but I had a quicker 5v5 (on account of surrender) that got 120, so that really kinda nailed it in my eyes
@NickT I think the penalty is equal from 21-30, so it probably is the same
> "Here's the thing about walruses: they don't like it when lizard-women in plate armour walk out of lakes with their forearms sheathed in flame. Gets them proper jumpy, which is quite amusing when large numbers of them do it once. "
I've noticed that in the Deploy screen of Battlefield 3, there are all these bars below my various weapons and other associated doodads and specialities that fill up the more I use them. What do they indicate? What happens when they fill up all the way?
Oh good lord, you crazy people got me into this homestuck thing

What are the differences to the two modes? If I play offline do I get less features than had I played online? The only feature I can think of that I'll be losing are the Conflux orbs, but are there others?
I picked up Super Stardust HD as part of the PSN's "Welcome Back" package a few months ago, but I didn't have a proper go at it until yesterday.
The game informs you early on that the three weapon types you posses are effective when trying to breakdown specific types of meteors (rock, gold and i...

What does this actually mean?
When donating to the giants, what is taken into account when determining the amount of favour I get for a donation? Is it anything other than monetary value of the items donated?
This is a strange question, but I'm gonna attempt to answer it anyway.
All electrical fires must be extinguished carefully. Especially if they're still live. Fire departments will all recommend the use of a CO2 extinguisher.
In a datacentre environment, however, I'd (But I don't recommend yo...
We had a big sticker at the entrance of our data centre with the text "In case of a fire, be somewhere else. Fast." And it was meant seriously - standing around in a hermetically sealed room with a fire in it and filling with FM-200 fire suppression gas will kill you.
@badp Alarm starts, you have up to 60 seconds to get the hell out. There's also a manual override, but chances are, if you weren't able to reach the doors in time, you likely won't manage to activate them either.
I have a MacBook Pro 15#, that I have connected another screen to.
It;s running perfect with all programs, except when I want to game, because every time I try to open a game (eg HoN/WoW) it opens on my MacBook's built in monitor.
So I switch the game to windowed-mode and drag it over to my oth...
If you're stuck in the "how should this thing look like whole?" phase, grab a pencil, draw it from all sides and perspectives, scan that in, import into Blender as guides.
Finally, think about prototyping in Sketchup (for architecture) or Sculptris (for organics).
Blender isn't really all that much harder than other fully featured 3D editors (though it is obviously harder than specialised 3D editors or composers like Sculptris, Sketchup or Poser).
I'm trying to run USNF 97 Navy Fighters (was made for Windows 95). My computer runs XP and everything runs and installs flawlessly. Just the actual game itself runs about 2-3 times too fast.
I've tried a ton of slowdown programs before, but none really seem to work (they run with lagspikes and t...
@Mana I'm enjoying it. (I wouldn't have read this far if I didn't). The beginning was very haphazard, but once the plot starts moving it's great. Although I have enjoyed some of the random asides in act 2, like the mayor of can town.
