Man, why didn't I fix this bug ages ago? It took me like 10 minutes to find 2 possible places to fix it, and 5 minutes to actually implement a fix. Sooo I had an image of mine put on a book cover. This book is now for sale through Amazon and a couple of Polish publishers. Looks like it was published earlier this year, maybe March/April-ish. I have not received payment yet. I know that this isn't that strange as rights management stuff is weird and can take time. Buuut...how much time is too much time to pass? Like, it's almost mid-June. Their FAQ doesn't list anything about payment except that it's a "delicate process"

I know they pay people as I work with and have talked to other photogs who've been published with them and they got paid (just a lot sooner than me it seems)

should I send a nice email asking what's up? Or just keep waiting? I don't want to hinder my chances of selling anything else by asking and them thinking I'm a trouble maker

I tried to join a game that was way ahead, and it asked me whether I wanted to reset to join them, and when I said "yes" it said "You can't join a game that's more than 10 levels ahead of your furthest level". But I couldn't un-reset

So even though I got to level 10, I can't join a game at level 12. It just resets me and then tells me that I can't join

we nearly beat level 19, everything stops reacting. on refresh not even the monsters/ my stats show up.

Q: Elite dangerous powerplay universe, are there single player universes?

Do all the players share the same universe or can I have my own universe? Can I make a particular faction win without having to fight all the other players?

The only thing that consistently works is my hp going down.

So now I'm apparently dead with more than 1k hp left on my screen ,and a respawn timer of nearly two minutes before I can even respawn.

That makes me happy, because I sit about 20 feet away from the official Protocol Buffer team, and I have contributed code to the JS library this game is using
