I set some constraints on the scrollview, to make sure it's top and bottom were aligned with the top and bottom of the view, now it doesn't show at all - blank screen
@fredley I think I found some crazy weird way involving multiple views and scrollviews and other weird things. It's been two years since that happened though.
I think I need to read the new, upcoming Avengers story line. Miles Morales, Kamala Khan, lady Thor (which I think I'm going to start reading), all sounds pretty good.
I have a UIScrollView, and in viewDidAppear I set the contentSize:
- (void)viewDidAppear:(BOOL)animated{
CGSize scrollContentSize = CGSizeMake(320, 9200);
self.scrollView.contentSize = scrollContentSize;
}
This code is definitely running.
However, the view doesn't scroll. I wired up a...
@fredley You are basically having the same problem I had two years ago, but I didn't find a solution, but worked around it somehow (can't check because no access to that code)
If I rebase my current branch (A) onto another (B), it takes all the changes/revisions made on that other branch (B) and applies to my current branch (A)?

@StackExchange @fredley Ah, I was just wondering since I figured that'd be a nice way to notify people when we're about to start Movie Night rather than constantly mentioning it in chat.
Haven't decided on a date yet (since we haven't decided on a movie) though.
(aka they are doing stuff with water and didn't tell me WHERE the hookups and shutoff were I had to pull my house apart, which was entertaining, because no one told me where the water stuff was. Turns out it is behind the jankiest little section of "wall" (panelling held there by a little s hook) which meant I had to empty my pantry and move it)
In the first dungeon, I've come across an area full of traps that will kill me if I step on them, and it's problematic in many different ways.
My characters detect the traps, but if I click beyond the area, they'll happily walk directly over the trapped floor, which really should be considered ...
If Poopy the Bird poops on the ground and I don't pick it up, my friends will slip on it and fall.
Does that do anything? I know if I poop on their heads I get money, but what about if I make them slip on it?
Our work SCM for machine updates is SOOOOO awesome. Was supposed to install updates automatically last night. Come in this morning and it asks me when I want to install them.
So, anyway, wtf is up with AngularJS? I'm just wondering why anyone would want to move the entire MVC stack to the browser instead of just using AJAX calls in a normal MVC stack.
@Powerlord There are quite some efforts to speed up those frameworks, e.g. React with the virtual DOM. The performace impact will likely get smaller in the future
@MadScientist Yes, well it's appropriately telling that Google doesn't use AngularJS in its own stuff and the next version is apparently a complete rewrite.
"Complete rewrite" as in "code written for the old version won't work on the new version"
@fredley While that statement is all kinds of dumb, the whole potentionally carcinogenic WHO stuff is just stupid. Mobile phones are in the same category, it doesn't really mean anything
Toxicity is always concentration-dependent. The stuff is reportedly very safe in the concentrations that actually get onto the food. That doesn't mean you can safely drink a whole bottle, which is many orders of magnitude more
@fredley And showing the hypocrisy of the person making the statement makes perfect sense. I wonder if he's going to have some repercussions for his job.
He should, because that was a staggeringly stupid statement to make.
@Rapitor Like any other font, it has contexts in which it is used best and contexts in which it is inappropriate. It just so happens that it's one of the more common fonts to be used inappropriately.

I know why people hate Comic Sans (and I personally believe that a large part of it is because it's fashionable to hate it), but I'm not exactly sure on why people hate Papyrus.
I've already set my gamma up to the highest setting, but on my screen (glossy), the maps are so dark as to be almost unviewable - all I can see are the markers, and sometimes brighter areas or tracks.
Is there a way to make maps more legible?
When casting a spell with an area of effect, the targeting cursor is a red and a larger yellow circle.
What exactly do these two different circles mean? Is the effect weaker in the yellow circle?
I feel like a complete utter moron now, but I'm not used to command line sqlaccess. where do I go to do these commands? (All I have is navicat, which is some stupid mysql accessing UI thing.

This application, or a library it uses, is using an invalid context and is thereby contributing to an overall degradation of system stability and reliability. This notice is a courtesy: please fix this problem. It will become a fatal error in an upcoming update.
@Arperum The product page for Navicat suggests there's some data transfer dialog that lets you select objects in the source db to transfer to some other db.
