I want to reveal all of my maps by walking everywhere and I sometimes find myself planning redundant paths. I wonder, what is the optimal pattern for revealing maps? To be more specific, what is the optimal walking pattern for revealing over-the-ground maps (open areas)?

I had an allergy test done today. Full battery thinger, with all the pricks in the back and needles in the arm and whatnot. I've been plagued with moderate to severe allergic reactions to I-don't-know-what all of my life, sometimes resulting in trips to the ER. So I figured it was time to pinpoint the cause of these reactions.

The good news is: I'm not allergic to anything.

The bad news is: My immune system is attacking my body, and my reactions are my body's way of overreacting to calm it down.

I have obtained the Origin Armor (the armor the worker wears), but I can't seem to upgrade it, or my Infinity Blade. Both are Level 10. How can I upgrade them?

@spugsley Basically, I hardly ever get sick because my immune system is too strong. The problem is, when I have nothing ailing me that my immune system needs to suppress, my body makes up something for it to fight. Which is usually in the form of full-body itchiness, severe swelling of the hands and feet, or hives/rashes. <_<

That's the way she explained it to me, anyway. She being the allergist.

Ugh, Florida's voluntary traffic school sucks

It's a state requirement that you have to attend for 4 hours

The way they do that is by making you spend a certain amount of time on each section

No matter how fast you can read

This section was allotted 25 minutes

I finished with 12 remaining

So now I just have to sit and wait for 12 minutes

Before it will let me go on to the next section

I can't remember which state it was that dad got pulled over during our road trip to Florida, but Virginia sounds plausible.

I've been pulled over once by a cop who was so offended I didn't slow down when he was going the other direction that he made an emergency u-turn in the middle of the road to get me. And then let me go with a warning.

Definitely not Virginia then. Virgninia has been throwing people in jail for speeding for longer than I have been alive.

I really can't emphasize enough what a bad idea it is to do over 80 mph in the state of Virginia.

You will end up with a criminal record.

Not a bad driving record, a literal criminal record.

For a misdemeanor conviction equivalent to animal abuse, or aiming a firearm at another human being.

Like the sort of criminal record that you get asked to explain when you apply for a job criminal record.

Never speed in Virginia.

Nah, the average speed on 95 here in Delaware is 72 mph, 80 isn't much of a deviation.

The speed limit is only 55 but apparently that was because no one bothered to ever check how fast people were doing, so they're raising it to 65 finally.

@MBraedley nah, 70 speed limit is the norm, and in most states, cops tend to follow the rule of "9 you're fine, 10 you're mine."

@LessPop_MoreFizz Well then your cops give you much more leeway. 100km/h or 110km/h is the limit here, and 10km/h over and you start risking a ticket.

In other news, I might be playing Bow more often.

IDK, the bow seems to lack punch, but I only played the tutorial mission with it.

@5pike I will admit that the Bow probably has less damage overall than the other weapons.

I feel that's to counter the fact that its base ammo (no coating) does more damage than the Bowgun's Normal 1.

The bow feels more like a support weapon for multiplayer, but as I said, I haven't really used it.

I did, however, get equal clear times on low-rank monsters with my Bow as I did with my Glaive.

@5pike Bow is a bit reliant on positioning and coatings.

Like Bowguns, you have a sweet spot for damage.

And coatings can boost your damage quite a bit.

Nerscylla was a serious nope. Took me forever to kill.

Nerscylla is annoying because she is very twitchy.

But with a good fire or thunder weapon, it goes down quickly.

Bows trade away the inconvenience of being farted on in return for possibly getting OHKO'd or 2HKO'd.

Although that's the case with all ranged weapons.

I'm not sure why I started to fish tail

Granted, if you pump too hard on the front brake you can go over the handlebars, but by using it all the time I have a very good feel for how hard I can squeeze before that happens
