@spugsley I reread the first recently and was really disappointed, to the point where I keep putting off rereading the other two.

It wasn't as good as I remembered. But most of the good parts I remembered also didn't happen in the first.

Weeks definitely improved as an author in his 2nd series, though.

@StrixVaria I love it so much. It's as good as Rothfuss for me which is really hard to do

I think the writing itself is shaky at times but the plot/characters make up for it, at least for me

@spugsley I first read it immediately after The Name of the Wind, and liked it almost as much.

@StrixVaria I almost never reread. I'm always disappointed. Since I know the plot already, I find myself reading with a more critical eye. It can be good, but doesn't make for an enjoyable read usually
