@Powerlord It does. You can wipe your iDevices and reload all your apps from iTunes. The App Store even shows you which apps you have purchased but are not on this specific device.

@JasonBerkan Of course you can reload apps from iTunes so long as you are running iOS 6 or newer.

Every single app we've tried to install in the last few months/year on that device failed because we were running a copy of iOS that was too old.

I honestly don't know how life is for Android 2.1 device owners, but I don't think it's quite like this.

Android 1.0 users probably are SOL, though.

iTunes now says it needs a passcode.

So I asked if jailbreaking could be an answer.

(That's before I start investigating on what I actually would need to do to jailbreak the device.)

(Also, if there is some charitable website that holds applications for fashionably old versions of iOS.)

@JasonBerkan The other day, my father couldn't find his iPhone any longer. He was in a car with the rest of us, all with Android devices. Find My iPhone is part of iCloud, which flat out refuses to work on Android.

Bottom line: you need an iPhone (or an iPad) to use Find My iPhone.

As far as I'm concerned, it's just a correction, which itself might not be correct. It seems to me to be more likely to be correct, but I don't know for sure.

It seems part of the issue is what is meant by the answer by that adjective.

If it was "area" instead of "chunk", it'd probably be less confusing, to me at least.

From what I recall, chunks only come in one size, so adding such an adjective would be redundant, except to inform or remind people who never knew or forgot the volume of a chunk.

@murgatroid99 Okay, I can see that confusion. That's not how I took it, as when it's specified as n x m chunks means a set of chunks n wide by m long. If you want to specify a set of chunks within a certain range of the player you would say "all chunks within n blocks of the player"

You don't generally give ranges in terms of chunks, except informally, and usually only in straight (cardinal) lines.
