> Steve-O questioned the campaign, suggesting that celebrities' videos generally forgot to share donation information for ALS charities, and that the $15 million dollars in funds is insignificant, given the star power of the celebrities participating.
"Sure, you're raising awareness and giving money, but not enough, you heartless bastards!"
@Sterno I can kinda see where he's coming from. I mean... Lady Gaga didn't speak at all in her video, so anyone watching it would potentially have no idea what she was doing.
@Fluttershy Sure, people could do it better. But it annoys me to no end when someone does something good and people just bitch about how they could have done it better.
Of course, this is all from a wikipedia article so who knows what the context was.
@Wipqozn There are limits to that (it's only 26 months if the parents split the time, and only if only if you keep working part-time), but 14 months is "normal".
Though my company would still be hurting, for reasons other than paying the time off, if we could all disappear for 14 months at a time and be guaranteed our jobs back at the end of it
I mean, that's not always a bad idea anyway. Someone critical might get hit by a bus. But we're all fairly young and cranking out babies left and right. I bet 20% of my company would be absent right now
In software development, a software project's bus factor (also known as truck factor, or bus/truck number or lottery factor) is a measurement of the concentration of information in individual team members. The bus factor is the total number of key developers who would need to be incapacitated (for example, by getting hit by a bus/truck) to send the project into such disarray that it would not be able to proceed. In this event, the project would retain information (such as source code or other systems) with which no remaining team member is familiar. A high bus factor, where many individuals know...
As opposed to things like illnesses and accidents - which you have to guard against anyway - at least with pregnancies you typically have enough forewarning.
The project I currently work on has way too low a bus factor. Particularly when you consider this project generates the data that all our other applications use.
....wait...would it be low or high if only a few people who can disappear?
Oh right, it's not just our department either, it is also the base of a lot of the Michigan Department of Transportation's stuff, too.
Necromancer just raised a zombie pig. Skeleton archer shot a frost arrow at one of my guys, freezing him. Another skeleton tried to run up to stab him but slipped on the ice created from the frost arrow and fell on his ass. Yeah, I like Divinity: Original Sin.
In the Tactics menu you can change the leader of the party, being the one at front while walking around, and the one interacting with the people and objects.
Does the selected leader changes the dialogs in the game? Or more important thing: Does one leader over another grant more possibilities (...
Then they dropped a Changeling-turned-Applejack so that there's four Applejacks shipped together in a chain, just to complete the goal requiring six earth ponies be in play
Which is really clever and really creepy at the same time
A long time ago diablo 2 had an external tool called ATMA, which you could use to store items outside of the game. Which removed the need for mule characters. I was wondering if borderlands 2 has a similar tool.
So a program that you use to store your weapons/items outside of the game. Not using...
1. Only ever open TvTropes in incognito mode 2. If you find yourself trying to open a link in incognito mode from incognito mode, you've gone too far; close the window immediately; no regrets.
@badp The thing is, I can see how opening TVTropes only in incognito might work, but I'd only ever do that when accessing it from outside TVT in the first place

I want to disprove a claim that Sneak XP can be earned by sneaking around a corpse. However, I may run (or crawl) into complication in measurement. Is the only way to check if I'm gaining Sneak XP by whether or not it levels up or by visually comparing the Sneak XP bar in the Skills/Stats menu?
