Q: Solution to tile skipping?

When I play Don't tap the White Tile 4, modes such as relay and zen tend to skip a tile and make me lose. I only press the screen once, and two seperate tiles are cleared. Is there any way to fix this? I have tried resetting my iPad mini, but have had no luck.
