They can't properly operate traditionally lucrative products in extremely wealthy nations so they're going apparently throw all that away and make entirely new products for extremely poor nations with no proven market. ta-daaaah

I guess best-case they might be talking a virtual console service for PC or something. I just really can't see that happening though

@5pike I think money would best be spent fixing the Wii U's virtual console and 3ds/Wii U online services. Unless they're completely incompetent they should be able to pump out VC games and get real accounts for MUCH less than a single "AAA" game for Wii U

I think they underestimate how much their policies discourage people from buying digitally and how relevant digital is to the market now

@badp After the 2DS more or less flopped (the most expensive 3DSXL vastly outsells it) I assume even Nintendo knows that's a bad idea
