The latest patch introduced a "Reset Quests" option which seems to clear all quest progress and restart the campaign. However, I have it available on some characters and not others. Also, I'm not entirely clear on how this is different than simply changing which quest or act I'm on and setting it...
@Wipqozn I just looked it up but am too lazy to self-answer
Plus I didn't get as much info as I'd like... supposedly you get "first time" quest xp, which is more than just replaying, but I don't really know how much more
> The effectiveness of the Life Steal affix – which restores your Life by a percentage of the damage you deal – is reduced as your character reaches higher levels, as shown:
At level 60: Life Steal is reduced by 90%. At level 70: Life Steal no longer functions.
I keep seeing these posts about salvage droids
and the game keeps talking about it
but I don't see them anywhere in the game
can someone lmk how to get them and use them?
Team Plasma attacked Opelucid City (Black 2) and froze up the place. I must have mashed A few too many times and now they're gone and I have no idea where to go. All unexplored towns are blocked off for increasingly implausible excuses and I don't see anything else in Opelucid city to do. I beat ...
I was pretty upset the other day, and requested that my account be removed. I filled out the form and didn't cancel the deletion within 24 hours of it being scheduled.
Now, I'm a little sick that I've done this, I acted in what I feel is haste, and I'd like to get my account back. I read in a f...
The Cannery building is unique in Tropico 3 in that it can take several different kinds of raw material - fish, coffee and pineapple. I've always assumed that it accepts all of those, all of the time, and produces canned goods for export. However I've noticed a couple of times that even when I ha...
I have found that recently, placing bitizens in their dream jobs only gives me back imperial bux maybe 50% of the time (seems like less, but I haven't actually counted). I also get two different messages now when I do get the bux.
One being the original, and now:

@StrixVaria Only on crits. If I've got Wrath of the Berserker runed with Frenzy going, and I've got the +100% damage from opening a chest, and I crit, then MAYBE I hit 300k
In general, ItsColby nailed the basics of how it works. Damage reduction is multiplied rather than added. So 70% Armor and 30% Physical Resist doesn't mean you're a god who blocks all damage... you're actually blocking 79% of the damage. But read on for a closer look.
Armor is good against all...
The point where I stopped refusing to buy games on principle is when I realized that the lack of my one sale doesn't mean shit to the company, so all I was really doing was depriving myself whatever enjoyment I would have gotten.
@StrixVaria Yeah, that's understandable and I get what you're saying, but I think that the "lack of one sale" thing isn't entirely accurate, because if people do that on a larger scale, it can end up making a difference.
Pretty much the only company I boycott is Blizzard, and that won't change until they reverse their stance on bnetd (and yes, this means that I maintain that boycott since 2002). Other than that, it's a simple case of less and less companies providing games I'd like to play in a package which is acceptable to me. Oh well, life goes on and I still have 100+ games to play and can make more myself.
bnetd is a software package that was reverse engineered from Blizzard Entertainment's Battle.net online multiplayer gaming service, providing near-complete emulation. The software allows users to create and play games on their own servers, instead of Battle.net servers. Released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, bnetd is free software.
Due to a United States lawsuit won by Blizzard against bnetd's original developers, they no longer maintain or host bnetd.

Blizzard games are packaged with unique codes. CD keys are entered, but not verifi...
@Wipqozn ME3 was 99% a good game, so I enjoyed most of it. I am sad that I have contributed to the #s of EA's perception of Origin's success, but like @Strix, I made a compromise for personal enjoyment.
Boycotting, unfortunately, is not as black and white as it may seem.
I've been playing the 2002 game, Divine Divinity, on Steam (Amazing game btw). Throughout the early part of the game many NPC's state that they're marking information on your in-game map - however, I can only seem to access a tiny mini-map. Does anyone know how/if there is a larger map or if th...
If you really, really want to guarantee that your money is/isn't going somewhere you want/don't want it to, it can be quite difficult to do that, and also, sometimes more expensive.
And depending on your own financial circumstances, you may have to make compromises on stuff like that.
@FAE That's why boycotting gas stations doesn't work. Gas station sales are such a small percentage of oil company's profits it hurts the gas station itself far more than the oil company.
A few years ago (3 or 4 I think) I played an awesome sidesrolling multiplayer running game on kongregate.
You were a little funny dude, You had to race against other people in different levels. You could collect hats (and also shoes, I think) and you could bump questionmark-blocks to get special...
There is this question that is currently on hold. From the comments, it seems that it is on hold as "unclear what you're asking" but it is currently on hold as off-topic for game identification.
However, the question contains a screenshot. Judging by the change log for it, the screenshot was a...
@OrigamiRobot Genericon is an annual convention hosted at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, run by the students of said college (university, now, I guess?). Rather than being specific to, say, scifi or video gaming or anime or board games or roleplaying games or anything, they hit... all of the above that I just said, for the most part.
It's nice and small, so there isn't a huge amount of EXCITING PANELS OH MAN IS THAT MY FAVORITE VOICE ACTOR YEEEEEEEEEEE~ kind of stuff happening (though we did get Kyle Hebert one year and Johnny Young Bosch another year), but that's part of its charm is its small size.
I always login into Origin in online mode. But today for past two hours or so (since I got home) Origin says "Origin: Online login is unavailable" when I fire up my client.
It does give me access in Offline mode. But when I launch ME3, all of EA's servers are offline, so can not resume my saved ...
@Wipqozn I wish everyone would get suspended for not agreeing with me. Except for the people I can easily best in an argument. They can stay. After all, I need someone to flaunt my superiority to.

@GraceNote We had Stan Lee at HeroesCon two years ago. Fortunately, they had him off in some remote part of the convention center and nowhere near the main floor.
@GraceNote Can you put that behind a link for me, please? I honestly don't know how to link something with a different thumbnail onebox image because I usually don't post stuff with questionable thumbnails, and I can't find it in youtube help.
@GraceNote I don't get the fanboyism (or fangirlism). Even when I do meet moderately famous people, they'll just ... people to me. I'm always kinda at a loss what to talk with them about. Except for James Blunt obviously, he's a hero because of the whole deal in Priština.
The only difference there is that their experiences are their own, so it's a new set of stories. Their fame (or, more to point, your knowledge of them from the works you've seen them in) basically gives you a window to view them from so that you get additional perspective.
@GnomeSlice Oh, I thought that was what you did when you would relink things that originally had NSFW thumbnails. I guess you're just finding different vids then?
@FAE Thumbnails? Depends on your status, up to four. ...://img.youtube.com/vi/(VIDEOID)/0.jpg to ...://img.youtube.com/vi/(VIDEOID)/4.jpg, with the first one being shown per default. There's also ...://img.youtube.com/vi/(VIDEOID)/maxresdefault.jpg if you want the default one in the maximum sensible resolution.
In Marvelous for the Super Famicom, I'm stuck at the spot where you're supposed to free a kid from his chains using a key that fell in a river.
According to the guides I've found, the key has been swallowed by one of the fish in the pond further down the river, and you have to catch the right o...
Are these only available through the Salvage special events?
I just rescanned and Kashyyyk has disappeared from all scan fields, and Endor has appeared. Does that mean I can never get the Kashyyyk levels? I spent 250 bux trying, having only gotten one Worker (disappeared while in an elevator whi...
@MartinSojka I just tested in Sandbox, if I take the regular url and append /# on the end, then it'll load a blank thumbnail for oneboxing, which is... something, I guess.
One of my biggest problem during a game of Banished is the ongoing lack of tools. Every citizen seems to need tools (of iron or steel) again and again.
What is the best practice to reduce the amount of such tools (made my the blacksmith)?
I was thinking and I had a thought, if i gave my sword -1 knock-back would it fling the attacked towards me, away like usual or do nothing.
Or if I enchanted my bow with -1 punch, what would it do?
@BenBrocka Does the PS3 version show up for you as purchased under the Vita anniversary sale? I own it on PS3, but the prices are still showing up for me.
@FAE don't have my Vita with me to test. Just go to the store page for it on your Vita and you should be able to download it. If not, check the download list
I'm not sure the stores always properly reflect the purchase of Cross Buy stuff
