I've got as much as my brain can remember. I was going to post on Arqade, but I was told it was better to ask it in the chat, as there are no restrictions (other than not talking about games)
Well Ill go ahead and ask it here. Basically it was like a ball and pipe game. I played it back in the mid 2000s when I was a kid. It had a white background and there were (i think) a bunch of levels where you had to get the ball to hit a target or targets. there were different kinds of pipes, I remember a conveyor belt, a pipe that split a ball in two, a staircase, and pink targets. It was so long ago but you
could make your own levels I think. the targets were pink and the pipes were blue i think. Maybe they weren't pipes. they carried the ball somehow. I also remember there being brick walls and maybe some sort of spring. sorry for the vague description. ive been looking all night. it was old, like from 2004-2007
I also remember the levels could get huge and take forever to complete. There was basic physics I think. It was also 2D, as in a sort of sidescroller, or some basic perspective but no sort of 3D effects. I also remember a pig?
I think there also may have been a toilet? and some other really strange additions you could make to your contraption thing
Yeah there was a toilet thing, a door
Also I remember some sort of 2d animal, like a tiger or something that you'd hit the ball into or something
I know that Riki is a noob hero to play. However it's very effective against noob opponents. My problem is that sometimes I'm afraid to use some spells because I'm not sure if I will get visible. Examples:
magic stick
changing attribute in power treads
teleport
urn
diffusal blade
Can any team...
After the Rubicon patch went live, I noticed that the third Omnidirectional Tracking Link on my Armageddon refuses to run more than one cycle before deactivating.
The other two will cycle just fine, but not the third one. I've got plenty of cap and all three are loaded with the appropriate scri...
hopefully this counts as a valid question in this Stack!
I'm trying to find an old game that had many great features. It:
was a strategy MMO game
was based on a Hex grid
featured a fleet of tanks you could upgrade individually with resources
had jump/move rules and range of fire
had multiple t...
I have just arrived in Auridon and one of the first quests I've been given involves convincing various individuals around the beach to pay up money they owe. I am given the option to Persuade or Intimidate them, or pay up on their behalf.
When I select t he Persuade or Intimidate option, I get a...
yeah, just not sure how the votes are handled. It looks like anarchy is just voted to the top of the list, so instead of a vote struggle it's the new Start9?
@OrigamiRobot I guess maybe that's better than the vote. Less wasted screen space/people's time on voting on something that's unnecessary like 98% of the time
@Sterno @StrixVaria @spugsley @Wipqozn The Skeleton King is guaranteed to drop a legendary right now if you reset quest progress, but they're going to fix that so we need to exploit make use of that while we can.
@Sterno I played through with 3 people yesterday where the host reset. The host got 1 legendary, I got 2 legendaries, and the other person got 0 legendaries.
The only thing that annoys me is the way it teased me thinking it was somehow already installed when it showed me the class and the expansion name the first time I loaded it up
@OrigamiRobot It feels like D3 is some FtP game that wants to tease you into buying the paying part. Except it isn't FtP.
The only other game I can recall immediately that comes close to being this obnoxious (fuck spelling) about "pay me" was runescape. And even that was less. You couldn't get member only items as a free player.
@OrigamiRobot The part that annoys me most is where they allow expansion stuff to be in the way of the gameplay of the basegame. That's bad. Heck, some people don't want to buy/can't buy the expansion. And those get it constantly shoved into their face.
@OrigamiRobot No, Blizzard should feel bad for treating their paying customers bad. Name me one other game where they stuff the expansion into your face all the time.
Pre-1.05, my wife played a wizard and I was barb. I'd use my taunt and do my best to block doorways and have everything beat on me, and she'd just murder it all with her DPS that was 10x what mine was
I've also been playing a wizard. Only level 14 right now. Also,I agree about the witch doctor. I have mine at level 34 and I'm just not having fun playing it. Not sure why.
@OrigamiRobot I understand your point, it's not about the potentially usefull items, it the principle of shoving the expansion into the face of people who can't get it for reasons.
A few years ago (3 or 4 I think) I played an awesome sidesrolling multiplayer running game on kongregate.
You were a little funny dude, You had to race against other people in different levels. You could collect hats (and also shoes, I think) and you could bump questionmark-blocks to get special...
@OrigamiRobot I am planning on embracing the new item system. Since a level 70 weapon with no CD is going to outpace any level 60 item no matter how much CD it has, I'm not going to bother trying to stock up now.
I hope there are more options for crafting amulets and rings in the expansion.
Okay, I'm looking forward to max level then. I was worried that Torment would just be one difficult, like the others. which would be really boring IMO.
@StrixVaria Is it bad that my first idea now is to do just that? But I don't have torment unlocked on hardcore. Not even master, even though I did beat normal difficulty in hardcore before.
@Arperum Master is unlocked when you beat Diablo (I assume in order to get it retroactively you have to have beat him on Hell), and Torment when you reach 60.
@Wipqozn If you get RoS, there's also "Adventure Mode" to play at the end-game, which is more of a free-form mode where you have bounties and nephalem rifts which sounds really awesome.
@StrixVaria I got a wizard to 30something and then got wiped because bad swarms of mobs. And the monk in the game was having issues himself. So I ended up dead due to being over confident.
I actually like hardcore. It gives quite the rush if you survive something stupid you got yourself in.
I liked that there was some filtering on the run. Grabbing everything feels wrong. Why do you even need to click on it to pick it up anymore? you want to take everything anyway.
It was complete trash before. Seriously. The drops were so terrible, and because level restrictions were too low (i.e. getting stuff at level 30 which required level 20) it was always better to just use the AH. Once you used the AH once you would never upgrade in-game again, because your AH gear would be just so much better.
It completely ruined the game for me. In fact, the more I thought about it I realized that the point where I just got bored of Diablo 3 was when I used the AH for the first time.
@Arperum When I used the AH the gear was leaps and bounds better than anything I had.
I can't wait until my shift is over so I can go home and play Diablo 3.
Actually, I'll probably watch the second half of the Godfather first. I started watching it last night, but only got about half-way through before I went to bed. I was so tired.
It's nice that the Godfather Part 1 has a natural stopping point half-way through.
also, that reminds me, how does quest resetting work? Does it just set your quest back to the start of the game, or does it just remove all your quests and make you play the whole game again?
During the game the party meet some of the endless (The dragons, e.g. Sea Dragon / Grass Dragon).
If you meet one of them and Ryu talks to them, they ask you, if you need their help. If you answer yes, Ryu can use their powers during the round based battles from time to time.
However, if you ta...
the battle maison/restaraunts, while kinda boring, are a better solution. The versus seeker was also clumsy but at least opt-in. Would prefer some sort of equipable "come at me bro" item that reactivated trainers passively but optionally, ideally with level scaling
