I've always used "they" when referring to someone of unknown gender. Seems much easier than anything else.

If you have a filter on the front element, and you put a ziplock around the rest of it, it will be fine.

I hardly use my hood, but you should use it or a UV haze filter to protect your front element at all times.

I always buy B+W filters. A $40-$80 investment will save you hundreds on a new lens. (Or in my case thousands . . . I have a bunch of Canon L Lenses)

Ugh, stupid printer's scanning software crashed and when I try to start it again, it says the printer's already in use by my PC.

Printer drivers are coded by people that should never be allowed to write code.

I also only print at work, where there is a dedicated IT staff that ensures I can print.

One was that if I choose to print 1 copy it's fine, multiple copies uncollated it's fine, but multiple copies collated would only print 1 copy.
