(1) It's a special character like <The Mad Scientist> or <Isca> the Fallen Angel, who is a unique NPC. May kick your tail if it's not the mad scientist.
(2) It's a boss enemy, which is like a normal version of that enemy but hurts more. Basically, they're to normal enemies what <artifacts> are to normal items. Also there are {godly} enemies in the same vein.
(3) It's a chess piece. Boss chess pieces would have double bracketing.

Things that look like driftwood, or a campfire, or piles of goods, or a pool of water, or a plant, or rocks with a pick in them that you can't seem to interact with. Searching on them attempts to gather, which picks up materials based on the spot. Casino Coins are materials.

I noticed today that I can talk to friends in the Shopping Centre (or whatever it is called) and they will offer to plant seeds with me. Does that benefit me or my plants in any way?
