Poor planning resulted that the greatest threat I ran into when trying to clear out cockroaches from the basement was starving to death before I could kill them all. True story: My dad is a cop who, early in his career, stopped a prison break by 2 inmates who had already beaten to hospitalization one correctional officer, and was the only thing preventing them from leaving. He pulled his gun and used harsh language while telling them to surrender. He got sued.

@Sterno Yeah I am pretty sure that would fail as well. I would bet you could find quite a few professionals that would explain its an officer's job to by intimidating to maintain control of a situation
