What is the max possible level in Rogue Legacy? I don't see any sort of experience bar, is level gain based on your generation or the number of monsters slain?
I'm wondering, is there a way to download the Minecraft packages manually? Maybe from a URL?
When I say packages, I mean, the (natives, jinput jar etc.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
@StrixVaria My wife played one where you breed animals. They'd have babies. Sometimes the babies would "run away" (i.e., die) and they used really sad looking art for it. But you could save the baby animal for the low price of 1 in-game gem or whatever. So not only was it give reward, then take it away, but it tried to use the loss of a baby animal in the psychology of it too
Still can't decide between NG+ in Rogue Legacy, or a fresh restart.
Also, far too much Rouge legacy talk as of late. Especially on the star list. I mean, come on people, what do you think this is, a video game chat room?!
I was in the Steam Market, looking for cheap things to buy/sell as usual, when I noticed this. A "Mystery Trading Card"?
The description is "This card is very mysterious. Very, very mysterious. The kind of mysterious card you might want to hold on to." Will there be some sort of reward if you h...
@Sterno I got it once. I have no idea how I did it. But I killed it.
user20683
@Fluttershy That reminds me of the time in WoW when I nearly got ganked by a Rogue. Killed him off only for my pet to aggro an invisible wolf with my having a sliver of health left.
> As a fan of the old Ninja Warrior show on G4, I have to admit... This course just gets harder every time I see it. The people who compete in these competitions are seriously nuts. I'd just make an ass of myself if I was ever ballsy enough to try it!
I feel like I should've ended that with "....... testicles."
In the second campaign, the Flying Trader, the starting city is Luebeck. Beyond that, when expanding to other cities, should the focus be on fulfilling the Luebeck's needs, or should it be entirely profit based?
What would be a good order in which to expand trading centers?
Is ARAM on LoL dumb to play, Is it just a joke, are there any pros and cons to ARAM?
I am curious to these questions cause LoL is a very argumentative game over certain things in the game its self. so my main questions are above on this one small game type in the game.
Since Feral Interactive's OS X port of XCOM: Enemy Unknown is now available on Steam, I decided to give it a whirl. After installing it however, I ran into a problem: When I click "Play" in the launcher, the game immediately crashes. What's up with that?
@spugsley I don't think your picture is ugly pretty, but then again I think you are super pretty, so. (Also I keep coming back to yesterday's awesomeness)
@AshleyNunn lol you are one of the few. Thank you for caring. Sometimes I hate how subjective art is. I'm like OMG THIS ONE IS SOOO GOOD LIKE IT OMG

@spugsley aww
user15026
also my mom texted me today and told me she liked it and asked if it was a dress (because last time we both thought it was a dress and it was just you working AMAZING THINGS with a sheet)
user15026
(I finally left her a bookmark on her ipod so she can look for herself every day :P)
@AshleyNunn If it wasn't meant as a euphemism, it doesn't matter, because it definitely is one now, and I will be using it from now on when referring to such women here.
Not that I have a need to discuss them very often here on the bridge, but nonetheless. It is a Good Euphemism and it ought not go to waste.
user15026
@LessPop_MoreFizz It is a very good euphemism and I approve of it
@StrixVaria I can only think of examples like FAE mentioned specifically (timer based items you "recharge" directly/indirectly with money) but sometimes games will let you pay to not suffer the consequences of death (e.g. losing items found in a raid or lengthy respawn timers) but I can't think of anything specific...I haven't been playing F2P mobile games for a year or so now so I really only remember Dragonvale
@LessPop_MoreFizz That's the article I was talking about (I THINK I linked it), was just trying to come up with a specific example but I'm blanking
I think some survival horror game I played let you buy "revives" which have a similar effect to that
user15026
@BenBrocka I know a lot of the F2P mobile running games (like Temple Run, etc) will let you buy "un-death" things with premium currency when you fall or whatever
I also managed to win one million coins from them (after 100%ing the original game before the assorted updates) though so I'm a bit biased now. I loved it before then though, even bought the soundtrack
I was considering whether or not to buy Dishonored, and watching gameplay of it on youtube, when a thought popped into my head; is Dishonored Free-Roam? Can you go anywhere you want, similarly to Fallout or The Elder Scrolls?
I am always playing Templar Assault RPG for my Android, and I use one or the other in a level (the Hydra or the Neptune), but the squad of 4 is too small to use both. Which do you think is best?
I have been working on a Minecraft server for awhile, and now, (having completed configuring my plugins) I am ready to start building a spawn. However, I am not that good at building attractive structures in Minecraft. (In fact, anything I build is usually a stone rectangular prism.)
How can I ...
@spugsley Since I can't dance, because it requires motor skills and depth perception and not being a klutz, and I can't afford lessons to help me not be those things, or to like..compensate for them I will just drool over this
@AshleyNunn I can't say. I've only ever seen The Wizard of Oz and this, so I'm not as invested in it. But I'm convinced that Sam Raimi just can't direct anymore. Especially not when James Franco is involved.
@AshleyNunn Like... I like Sam Raimi. Loved Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, and the first two Spider-man movies. And I like James Franco. He was excellent in 127 Hours. But the two together just... aren't good.
I just have to figure out where to go to get it and then redownload all the things (and ask theBoy nicely for access to his server to get all the stuff I lost that he gave me)
In the Beach world, the end boss is at least one (I think three, though, if the cutscene is any indication) crab. I have no idea how to fight it! No matter what I do, it seems to hurt me, and I am losing red balloons like a toddler at the county fair.
How do I kill this boss?
I've defeated the final boss in a very cheesy way (Babarian Tank with a lot of Damage Return).
Now I have a hard time even getting some money in the castle of New Game Plus - is there some way to return to the old "easy" castle ?
I am trying out the Rogue Legacy demo. I do understand that the objective is to have succeeding generations to slowly build up strength - but when my initial character dies a miserable death in penury, I just want to restart the game.
Using the Delete Save option in the menu, the new character a...
When I found a colony in sword of the stars, I'm presented with two sliders: one for terraforming, and one for infrastructure. I can allocate different amounts of industrial output to each of them, and the total amount of infrastructure/terraforming I can do increases from turn to turn. How shoul...

What are the pros and cons of each? and when should I choose one over the other?
Does using "fresh start" in BO2 affect your "league best" or league play in general?
Because, I observed, that people reset their stats and their "league best" would still be the same.
Few years ago, I created AirMech account on it Chrome app using Google oAuth. I played it for a while making a nice progress in it.
Yesterday, I downloaded AirMech beta from Steam and hit Create Account by mistake instead of Login (I did forget about my old account). I was just asked for usernam...
@Blem I wish the people who VTC'd had taken the 10 seconds to edit that like you did.
When people come to this site to ask what the "best" weapon is, it's kind of implied that they're asking for your experience with the game and in what situations each is best (or if one is just always worse). Not "Hey, guys, vote and tell me which one you think has the prettiest explosions"
@Sterno "Do you like the Hydra flame thrower or the Neptune heavy machine gun better?" is literally asking for opinion. Just because it can be edited doesn't mean it has to be. And, quite frankly, when someone doesn't read /about when they get prompted three times to do so, it's reasonable to expect the asker to fix it themselves if they do want an answer.
> Not all questions work well in our format. Avoid questions that are primarily opinion-based, or that are likely to generate discussion rather than answers.
I managed to "tame" them be pressing s and i, but I can't get rid of them. And that way, they are blocking deletion and further progress...
Can you give me a hint?
Asking for opinion by itself isn't a problem. Just about every strategy question on here is based on opinion. But it's backed by specific expertise, which this question can be as well. Yes, the original form was ugly, but it took a really minor edit to fix, and all we have to assume is that the asker is not asking the dumbest thing possible
@Sterno It's up to the asker to fix because the site tells them repeatedly what it is they did wrong. They are the type of user that keeps asking like that and gets their answers because other people fix their questions for them.
I am trying to install Unreal Tournament 99 (Game of The Year edition) on a Windows 7 computer - I have both CD1 & CD2, however the CD1 setup.exe doesn't run. I've tried everything from running the file as Administrator - changing the Compatibility to older versions of Windows but it never actual...
