So far she seems way more luck reliant than the other characters, but that's probably just due to me not understanding her well yet.

The basic idea of how to play her seems straight forward enough... use wraith and/or divinity for really big turns... but actually pulling that off well is another story.

I've only had one victory with her so far.

Well more than that if you count beta, but if you just count yesterday, it was 1 victory and a couple losses.

Speaking of Ironclad, I beat Ascension 20 with Ironclad for the first time this week. My first Ascension 20 victory with any character.

@Ronan Most builds rely on orbs to some fashion. Frost Orbs are fantastic if you get scaling, but kind of suck without them. WIth focus, though, they can be just about the only block you need. Also, Glacier is probably the best Defect block card.

Attack wise, Ball Lightning is a really fantastic Act 1 pickup. Compile driver is good too, due to card draw and okayish damage. Doom and Gloom is a fairly solid AOE card,plus Dark Orbs (although they can be hard to use).

Power wise, defragment (more focus) and capacitor (more orb slots) are both fantastic, high priority cards.

@Ronan It depends. More Orb slots means the dark orbs will build up more, which is what you want. However, if you have really bad orb generation, then it can definitely be a problem for certain fights.

Recursion goes really great with dark orbs, because it'll preserve the value of your dark orb when you play it. Dual Cast and Multi Cast (essentially an X value dual cast) are both fantastic with Dark orbs as well @Ronan.

@Wipqozn Heatsinks is nice, Loop is also really good.

Melter is also a really, really good attack card in the right situation.

Actually, given its base damage and cost, it's a really good card in general.

Heatsinks + White Noise + Amplify is also a potent combo. Also, Heatsinks + Creative AI.

There was one game where I managed to collect Heatsinks, White Noise, Amplify, Creative AI and then upgraded all three of them plus I had the Mummified Hand relic (whenever you play a Power card, a random card in your hand costs 0 energy).

And I had a relic that basically made a card Innate and I put that on Heatsinks.

According to the wiki, it's Bottled Tornado.

@Yuuki Melter is great for act 2. It's essentially an auto pick for me up until the middling parts of Act 2. The damn armor ball is the obvious culript, but it's good against that plant too.

It had Issues

Easy is too easy, normal is too hard, the boss fight is heavily scripted and poorly telegraphed, the game does a poor job of telegraphing in general, and the context aware action overload is real

The stealth mechanics are straight up bad
