@murgatroid99 Yeah, it's actually accepted now that AlphaGo is just better than humans, so the 5 humans vs. AI match is to see if 5 people working together and discussing strategy can manage it.

As one person put it, that gives them 5 chances for brilliant ideas per turn.

There's another match that's going to be even more interesting which is AlphaGo + Human vs. AlphaGo + Human, where the AI and humans take turns on each team.

So the human has no idea what AlphaGo is planning.

That's going to be interesting to see because we haven't actually seen how AlphaGo plays when it thinks it's losing very much.

@Beedrill Then I think they chose a specific time to take per move. My understanding is that it's not a fixed amount. They can vary it, based on how deeply they want to explore in the game tree and how aggressively they prune options

Q: Does the "gunner" section on crew training affect pilot skills on single person aircraft?

Just so I don't waste any more crew points, does the gunner tab on crew training affect the pilot? As in, on a one man fighter, does it train the pilot in accuracy, precision, etc.?
