We did restrict the write permissions to the file server a while ago due to ransomware, so that users mostly just affect their own stuff. Restoring multiple terabytes from backup is seriously annoying

Took about a decade of research to figure out, from what I understand; the calculations are pretty simple, but getting there took a bit.

We've got our own matching shop, too, to help build tools to do our job better.

Hell, the paint we use throws off blade balances enough to need readjustment afterwards.
