Why 6 phones? Because both adults need 2 phones each to easily chat with people theyre cheating with and apparently a 5yo kid needs a phone. Dont have much to say about the 10yo one though)

My techphobic parents have a phone and laptop each. That's it. I have a laptop, a desktop, a phone, another laptop and tablet on loan from the school, and a 3DS.
Why 3 pcs? Because the pc bought by me 4 years ago is in dispute over the notsoadults and the one that didnt pay a dime will likely keep it. But yeah, they both also bought a pc to themselves.
In the final fight with beast Ganon, when you are on Hyrule field, can you just run away and leave Hyrule field? If yes, what happens to the boss fight? If no, what prevents you from leaving?
PS: made the question title vague to prevent spoilers that theres a final fight with beast Ganon. Those ...
I stumbled upon the colosseum in BotW. It seems to be an important place, but after killing the Lynel and a few ennemies, it seems there nothing else here, not even a Korok seed.
Is there anything to do that I missed in the Colosseum, or is it just empty?
I know he has to authorize certain budgetary withdrawals, but otherwise it's mostly showing up on National Day, and visiting or receiving other country's dignitaries
Oh, and having a nice and pleasant smile, because him and the First Lady's portrait are suppose to grace every government institution
The problem is that, while there are a lot of things wrong with the US electoral system which are quite easy to pick apart, I'm not entirely sure how I can argue that that in itself would lead to the President being illegitimate
For instance, I have two paragraphs here talking about how undemocratic the electoral college is, but that in itself doesn't necessarily mean the president is illegitimate. Need to find a connection, somehow...
@PrivatePansy Right. Sadly, it appears that he is the legitimate president. The only thing that could maybe change that is evidence of foreign intervention, and even that doesn't seem to matter
You could take the approach of working under the assumption that the rumours are true and that as such him being helped by a foreign power makes him illegitmate
So a paper of "If this is true then these things follow"
I'm going to try to see if I can make a (probably overly simplistic) argument that a good deal of the electoral system are in fact deeply unpopular and historically flawed
(A 2011 Gallup poll shows that just 35% of those surveyed would opt to keep the Electoral College if they had a choice)
I mean, the Russian connection is strong in that it makes the most compelling case, but it's really quite simple to write, and it hinges on that big if of the campaign actually colluding, which is anybody's guess right now
I did make the somewhat weaker argument that Russian interference in itself has weakened the legitimacy of the election.
Also, I prefer the electoral system argument because, well, it's an area that has a lot more scholarly work done in it, and I can actually cite them
goddammit. Found a bug in the old version of the framework this project uses. I fixed it in the framework, but now this project needs a framework update. And let that framework now have a backward compatibility break...
IMHO, most of the individual design decisions (for lack of a better term) taken in the Electoral College are okay on their own, but taken together, it produces a system that is deeply flawed.
@KevinvanderVelden That's only the individual congressional districts. While it's a real problem, for the purpose of discussing the Presidential election, it's mostly irrelevant, except for the two states that assigns Electoral College votes based on congressional districts
The big problem in terms of the Electoral College would be uneven voting power distribution. Essentially voters in most state shouldn't bother turning up - their votes are essentially meaningless
For instance, the fact that voters in small states have proportionally more power than voters in large states is by itself perhaps a good thing (although I'd argue that there should be less disparity), but when you combine it with the fact that the presidential election largely isn't a federal affair, but rather a state affair, you start unnecessarily amplifying the problems with the first bit.
My personal recommendation is that 1) the election of the president (and by extension the vice president) be nationalized, and 2) the electoral votes get distributed proportionally to candidates at the state level. That doesn't solve all the problems (Donald Trump probably would have still won, according to 538), but it mitigates a lot of the other problems.
Despite having already played a lot of XCOM 2, when I decided to start playing again, I was forced to do the tutorial (as the game was still installing at the time). During the tutorial, two squad members are scripted to die, since the tutorial forces you to make specific moves.
That said, there...
> The point of the Electoral College is to preserve “the sense of the people,” while at the same time ensuring that a president is chosen “by men most capable of analyzing the qualities adapted to the station, and acting under circumstances favorable to deliberation, and to a judicious combination of all the reasons and inducements which were proper to govern their choice.”
I found a bug revealing user data like name, address and probably even CC info (there was a position for it but it was never filled as I only ordered with pay on door option) while messing with the page during ordering a pizza
the worst part is that the store here doesn't honor some deals from site
like site gives me 5 pizzas to choose from when going with 2 pizza for 1.5 price thingy, and they just make and send one type no matter what you choose
As title. Deemo released its 3.0 update which introduces a new difficulty called "Extra". Altale has an Extra chart (LVL S) according to its wiki and multiple videos on YouTube.
How do I unlock it? Does the Tree have to reach a certain height? Or are there specific things to click in rooms?
The job of the sauce is to provide tomato flavor. If it's sweet or savory to the point where you can't taste the tomato as well, there's something wrong.
@Sterno Luckily I used the time to read up on DND. That said watching you guys wasn't a big deal. I enjoyed it. That can be a problem over extended periods though.
Yeah. I mean, if it's late game, finish it out. But like that time where you both died pretty early, no reason for you guys to watch me hide for 15 minutes and then die horribly
I know nothing of 5E, so I don't think I can lend any advice beyond general play experience, but feel free to consult my 20 years of knowledge on the subject.
The joke is that rich people mobilized American religious fundamentalists into a political alliance, despite behaviors exhibited by those rich people that many people would not associate with traditional Christian values, including compassion for the poor.
They've mobilized them to the point where I'd argue that compassion for the poor is no longer a Christian value. At least not a modern Christian value.
Although I'm most likely disillusioned by the Christians that live near me, so that probably doesn't apply to Christians at large.
@Yuuki Can you really associate that as a Christian value though? Wouldn't it be more a value of a neighbourhood or some kind of grouping based on location?
