@MBraedley that good?
@GodEmperorDune I watched an episode of one of the exclusive series because, of course, the first hit is free, and I kinda want to finish watching the series.
cc @Wipqozn @Sterno you folks keep talking about stealth games
@MBraedley oh i thought it was just music
One of the stars is a musician I'm subbed to, and she posted the trailer on her channel, which linked to the first episode.
@GodEmperorDune You get music stuff along with some other perks.
23:05
also no ads
but you should use ublock anyways
@arda I disagree with the "should", but yes I'm using an ad blocker.
My current issue with looking at YouTube Red is I'd need to consolidate my Google accounts
Yeah, I only have the one.
Or at least, use my real name one for watching YouTube
I have the real name and the Unionhawk88 account
I said should because internet is full of ads nowadays. Also, why exactly ublock? It uses less resources and is faster than abp and gab
23:08
I have an exception set for twitch
@arda Preaching to the choir

My phone wants to update to 7.0. Debating if I should do that or wait til I am home later....
user15026
(Is there any OMG benefit to doing it?)
babies are fun; i just cleaned up a pee and 5 poops in one
good thing i've wised up to her trolling ways
cc @twobugs
user15026
@GodEmperorDune You have an odd idea of fun
23:20
ow, headbutt to my jaw
@Ash if you can't have fun with it you'll probably go mad
user15026
That's true
@Ash afaik no omg benefits (there is multitasking but that'd mostly help with tablets), and well, it is new (at least the release, it was in beta since forever). It is likely that there is a notable amount of apps that'll get minor or major issues from the changes, here is an example, so I'd wait a bit before updating to see if there are any issues with apps or the OS.
user15026
@arda Well, I don't play that game, so I don't super care about that particular instance. (There are really very few apps on my phone that are vital to my day to day)
@Ash yeah, that was only an example
user15026
I suspect it will be like Marshmallow, where stuff will be in sort of a flux state for a while until people iron out their apps
user15026
23:25
(and really, some apps are still doing pre-Marshmallow style permissions :P)
iOS 10 also released today. It didn't go that well for a lot of people. You needed iTunes on pc/mac to complete the update (not expected behavior, at least on OTA updates). link
What should I have for dinner? cc @Wipqozn
OH WAIT I ALREADY HAD DELICIOUS SUSHI CC @Wipqozn
Get rekt
@ash i think the new android update comes with wifi calling
@twobugs qdoba
user15026
@arda Sounds like they've resolved that though?
user15026
23:32
Or at least are claiming they have?
user15026
Not that it relates to me (well I guess I do have an iPad but I don't use it for much)
@Ash I think they did. But yeah, that's also a pretty recent example of why updating on day one is a bad idea.
@GodEmperorDune I don't know if there are any in this hellish state of Florida
user15026
Makes sense :)
Had a ton of excellent sushi at this place which is within walking distance of my hotel. Great service, too. Left them a generous tip
23:34
@twobugs i heard they were spraying insecticides in florida. RIP @twobugs
I brought my gas mask(s).
That thing @RedRiderX linked about Pepe being a White Supremacist thing is really cool
> This is horrifying.
Yes.
What can I do?
Vote.
Are you not entertained horrified?
This is America. I'm always horrified.
23:49
finally server up.
I swear I spent last 30 hours working on fixing linux issues.
> Arcane Mage (427) - 0.8%
Fire Mage (3470) - 6.5%
Frost Mage (434) - 0.8%
cc @twobugs @SaintWacko
Ha, mages have both the highest and lowest followings in terms of "mainspec".
Yup. It's because Fire is in a Really Good place. Arcane is in the gutter but was great before, Frost is better off I think but has never been a fantastic raiding spec
The Russian WADA hack is fascinating
The WADA is a horrible association, don't get me wrong
But the fact that they're upset at someone besides their own government because they were caught doing a state sponsored enforced doping program... well...
(The initial Russia doping scoop came from a Russian athlete coming forward with evidence of systemic doping. The WADA promptly reported this... to the Russian authorities and nobody else)
@arda The card swiping thingies in the NYC subway are pretty finicky, to be fair.
You have to swipe it slower than you expect, but not too slow or it can't read that either.
even we switched to nfc
It's easier to switch to new technology in places where you don't already have an absolutely insane amount of infrastructure on old technology.
> The New York City Subway is the largest rapid transit system in the world by number of stations, with 469 stations in operation
23:58
@StrixVaria sick burn
I don't think that's a burn?
The construction project they're doing to make the single subway stop at NY Penn Station slightly nicer has been going on for well over a year already.
It's just NYC has a great deal of infrastructure built on very old stuff that needs to be modernized
Moving to NFC requires every single subway station supports the new tech.
