I literally copypasted the linked source post, but I added the link to source. Is that ok?
does anyone care about such things?
@Unionhawk the monitor doesn't have to support 4k to render the game at 4k. mind=blown
@Chippies internet seems to say that they don't have it in the same way an LCD screen does (i.e. an LCD actually has one resolution, you just scale up/down to it) while CRT can interpolate better
@KevinvanderVelden Changing the resolution just changes how much the electron beam is deflected per pixle. But seeing as how CRTs use analog signals, higher resolutions just result in effectively applying a low pass filter.
The new offices and warehouses required for the missions cost a lot of money. Are they worth it? What sort of return-on-investment do you get from the new missions through them?
Are there any other interesting or unique mechanics you get access to by being a CEO/owning an office & warehouse?
In the diplomacy screen of Stellaris, an opinion score is shown, that shows how much the other empire likes you.
One component of this score is "Threat". Some of my neighbours have huge negative threat values, some don't. Yet I never had a war with any of them.
What influences this value, and ho...
They looked at records of their employees in game activity and saw a correlation between abusive behavior and people who had been terminated for various other reasons.
@Frank yeah. I mean, these are all staff accounts, clearly, because it's why they have enough access to pair the accounts to the employees in question.
There's no logical way for it to work other than it being with an account that riot has flagged as "this is one of our people! Using the account that we have comped for them!"
Some level of oversight can be necessary. Eve for example audits employee accounts simply because they often have knowledge that could seriously impact the in-game economy if they would reveal it to others (which has happened in the distant past)
> Click on the magnifying glass and it’ll take over your browser and immediately cycles through a series of search terms ranging from the mildly embarrassing (“why doesn’t my poo float,” “smelly penis cure urgent”) to the potentially relationship-ruining (“mail order paternity test,” “attracted to mother why”) to the type of thing that might get your name on a list somewhere (“isis application form,” “cheap syria flights,” “how to kill someone hypothetically”).
> The reaction has been so visceral, in fact, that one of the moderators has had to step in and defend leaving the link to the site—which now has warnings all over it—on the page: “We've taken adequate steps to warn redditors that this link might be something you shouldn't just blindly click,” internetisbeautiful moderator K_Lobstah wrote in an incredibly long post.
If you know which changes they'll implement in the next patch, you can easily earn billions or trillions of ISK in EVE. So they're particularly vulnerable to people using inside knowledge
I'm making a map in which you switch blocks around, but depending on the order you do it, I can't use /setblock or else it might set the wrong block. I know I can use /clone to clone one block and place it in another spot, but is it possible to do this to two blocks at the same time to switch the...
I have noticed that I am getting assists when I am near an enemy god that dies, despite not attacking the god. Does the assist system merely work on distance as opposed to doing damage? Do I not get an assist for hitting a god from distance?
I understand that ADC is a term that came from other MOBAs. In League of Legends it appears that the term is an old term since replaced with Marksman, Assassin and Fighter to refer to specific classes of champions.
I've been told that in Smite it refers generally to Hunters. Does that mean all...
I really want to pick up Kingdom Hearts 2.8 when it comes out. Not sure if I should wait for the "new" PS4 to come out or to just buy a PS4. I can find them as cheap as $200~ refurbished which isn't bad at all.
Also with summer coming, I'll change my profile picture. Preferably to one with less red.

One of our on-site techs just showed up and was like "I know you're still working on a Friday night so I got some fried chicken from the place across the street and figured I'd share" so now I have fried chicken.
I have a cousin who is to lazy to visit my house so I want to transfer my Minecraft PS4 World Save Data to her PS4 version of Minecraft. Is it possible? If it is, then tell me how to do it, because i'm stumped.
