Remove-WebVirtualDirectory has an OPTIONAL parameter called Application. when i don't provide the parameter, it prompts me to provide a value. Passing null throws an error. But the virtual directory is NOT in an application
so add ANYTHING causes it to fail with a NOT FOUND error

Refine the question so that it isn't a recommendation but perhaps a more literal yes/no question. Example: "I've looked up these games. Do any of these feature X mechanic?" Shows the user did their homework and simply doesn't have knowledge of the game content while trying to reach the same goal.
If they narrow down the range of possible answers from their question and make it more objective instead of subjective, they could possibly save the question.
I think I'm using that phrase correctly.. Objective is well-understood truth, right?
