@StrixVaria In season 2, he makes a big effort not to do it, and acts like he doesn't, but if you actually watch the action scenes from season 2 on, he and his allies kill plenty of guys
Honestly, that's always bothered the shit out of me about superheroes that have a "no killing" philosophy. Cops kill when they have to. Why not superheroes?
Better to let the Joker escape for the 500th time and murder another thousand people?
I'm sure they're all "blah blah blah I'm a vigilante not an actual law enforcement officer so it would be murder blah blah blah". Yeah. You're already beating them to a pulp and sending them to prison.
the Knightfall comic arc for Batman explores what happens when Bruce temporarily gets replaced by someone else to be Batman. A Batman in 90s cool future armor with claws that murders criminals.

@KevinvanderVelden Right, and that's how they partially justify the the vigilante activities... they're just bringing bad guys in, not passing judgment

I remember when there were only 6 maps, and one of them was tc_hydro, so if you didn't pick a server dedicated to a specific map, you were playing tc_hydro 1/6 of the time.
Okay I need some advice from you people. Let's say you have a map, right? You want to display some data on that map, so you highlight the area. This works well for one or two datasets, but when they're overlapping and you start getting into 3+... not so much
@MadMAxJr Fun fact: I played Frontier before the version that actually made it into TF2... the cliff face between points A and B was added in the final version, presumably so players could be pushed off of it.
I'm playing as a Center in MyPlayer, and have learned to do most of the things asked of me. Rebounding, Fast Break, Protecting the Paint. I can get B's or better in most of these pretty much whenever I'm asked.
What I can't seem to figure out is the Pick and Roll with the Ball Handler. I tend to...

@fredley muBlock requires a target source for the image to be suppressed, doesn't it? With CSS injection, I can just tell the page not to show anything with an img tag
@GnomeSlice I considered learning the required tech stack to try to reverse image search each image posted in the Bridge automatically, then parse related resources to see if the word "pony" came up, and selectively block it if so.
It's a bunch of ridiculous "The Force Awakens sucks! The prequels were good! Let's try to tear open plotholes in The Force Awakens that prove we didn't even watch the movies!"
One of them is expressing intense incredulity that someone from a backwater sand planet could become a pilot
The trick here is that the question is about TFA but accurately describes A New Hope.
There's a very high rep user on SFF I have an intense dislike for based on their conduct on that site and several other networks, and that is all I will say
I got into a semi-argument with a friend recently regarding how much credit to give George Lucas for Star Wars. She was commenting how he's an awful director and that's why the new Star Wars trilogy was so terrible and I countered Well I've read the script to the original Star Wars and that at le...
That too. I guess when you have made billions of dollars nobody really wants to say no
Basically, remember how there was that stupidly paranoid and dumb question about the Windows 10 open beta on infosec? And @kalina posted an amazing answer? That needs to happen to each and every TFA question
@GodEmperorDune Yeah, it's interesting. And it kinda serves Lucas's original vision that the so-called "light side" and the Dark Side aren't two sides of the same Force coin, but rather than the Dark Side is out-and-out evil and corrupted.
@Yuuki There are lots of references about "The dark side of the force", which leads me (and I would think most people) to think that there are two sides of the force. You can use those powers for good or evil. (or maybe I'm misreading your statement)
The force is their tool, good/light is how they choose to wield it. I don't think that's ever been questioned. I think there's not a lot of references to the "light side" because people don't turn light -- they start out as jedi (which are "good") then get turned/seduced by the dark side.
@TimS. The point I'm making is that since there's no canonical reference to a "light side" of the Force before VII, you could argue that rather than being two sides of the Force, there is the Force as it should be and the "Dark Side", which is actually corrupted Force. They're not yin-yang, as it is. Milk can turn rancid but you don't call spoiled milk "the dark side of the milk".
