Q: What is the best settings for Metroid prime for dolphin 4.0?

user124306I have an acer laptop Windows 10 I'm having problems with the fps help me please

@Chippies Really? Yikes. I've only been playing solo really but that sounds like a huge problem

@twobugs there are forum posts complaining about it
I was just in public with a WD in fact, was quite laggy
and it doesn't even seem to matter what build they have

I remember there was a Wiz build in S3 I think that had a similar issue. It could just dish out so much damage in such a way that it messed with the netcode enough

@twobugs Idk if that's the issue, as the WD's don't seem to be much stronger than my monk, but maybe it just does a lot of hits per second so the game can't keep up

With the Wiz build IIRC it was an issue with how one of the legendary gems interacted with their abilities
I don't remember specifics

11:09 PM
Well, in this case, I haven't run with a WD that didn't lag my game yet in S4
and I know they're not running the same exact builds
so I don't really know what the issue is, but it's a common one

curious if any Bridge peeps are vegan or vegetarian?

@spugsley I have a cousin who's vegan, and another cousin whose wife is.

user15026
@spugsley I'm not, but i know plenty of people who are either of those things

@AshleyNunn I'm making the transition and need a good recipe resource (just googling is a little overwhelming) - any chance you know of any they use?

user15026
@spugsley Let me take a peek, I am sure I can find some stuff

user15026
11:15 PM
Do you want me to Steam message you so I don't potentially linkspam the chat?

user20683
@spugsley Go get any cookbook by Crescent Dragonwagon

user20683
If that's too stuffy, try Thug Kitchen

user15026
Okay, I haven't tested these, but I LOVE every SINGLE Serious Eats recipe I have tried because they are great people who care a lot about food, so here: seriouseats.com/2013/03/…

Dammit.

user20683
otherwise use "Recipe for vegan/gitarian Dish"

user20683
11:18 PM
and punch into Google

I accidentally reincarnated as a Seal Clubber.

user15026
@Yuuki Not what you wanted?

@AshleyNunn I meant to do Turtle Tamer this run.

user15026
Aww, we could have matched!

Now, I either speed ascend or I go for the Gladiator-path equipment.

user20683
11:19 PM
@Yuuki reincarnated? Weren't you that already? I mean I seem to recall you are into swimming and techno and beach balls.

@AshleyNunn thank you :3

user15026
@spugsley No problem. I also second the Thug Kitchen rec

user15026
@WorldEngineer Oh now I am imagining sea creatures out clubbing and my brain is really happy

user20683
First Rule of Cooking, veggie in particular: Your food choices are as valid anyone elses. Being Self-Righteous isn't a valid position.

user20683
Second Rule of Cooking: Salt should only be used as a flavor if you know what you are doing

user15026
11:21 PM
True that.

user20683
Third Rule of Cooking: Things that curdle should be handled with care

user15026
Because I have ruined so many things by being like "a little is good, so more is better, right?:

@AshleyNunn Cook's Country is something I also suggest (they do America's Test Kitchen), but they're primarily a magazine and a lot of the website is hidden behind membership stuff.

user15026
@Yuuki I like the magazine though :)

user15026
(A friend has a sub and I steal her copies sometimes)

11:22 PM
I have Amazon Prime so I have access to their TV show.

@spugsley we have the Thug Kitchen book and wife loves it and we're not even vegetarian

user20683
4th Rule of Cooking: Tumeric is like that cousin that thinks everything dangerous sounds awesome. Good in small doses if kept on a tight lease with others present.

@Chippies excellent :) I'll definitely look in to it

user20683
Should be combined with things that have flavor

@spugsley Among my family, we've generally found that most recipes can still work relatively well with vegan substitutes (some may require a little more or less of this and that). Cheese has been our biggest stumbling block - most vegan "cheese" products either don't melt properly, or don't taste great.

user20683
11:24 PM
@TrentHawkins for the hard cheeses, certain mushrooms work if dried and grated

user15026
@spugsley They have a website so you can get some recipes there and try them before committing to a cookbook if you like

@TrentHawkins I'm not planning on cutting out dairy just now (maybe eventually) but for right now I'm trying for vegetarian and not vegan
@AshleyNunn yay thank you!

user20683
Vegetarian is much easier to maintain

user15026
@spugsley No problem :)

@WorldEngineer agreed. I can't cut everything out at once or I won't stick to it
so red meat is gone. Has been gone for over a month. Pork has been gone for six or more. Chicken is slowly going away.

11:26 PM
@spugsley Probably a good idea - if you plan on going vegan, the curve from vegetarian is a lot less difficult than going straight there.

For now I will eat fish though I suspect it may go too at some point

@WorldEngineer Huh, I'll pass that info onto my mom. For the next time we have pizza out at the cottage with some of the more extended family. Thanks.

@TrentHawkins Cheese is the primary reason I could never go vegan

user15026
Also, check out the Pioneer Woman's blog. (That sounds ludicrous, I know, because she's a ranch wife now, but she used to be vegetarian, so she has some really awesome meat free recipes if you search for "vegetarian" on her site. I am trying to find like....a tag or something vecause she used to have awesome tagging on her site but she recently changed it and now I don't know where anything is.)

user15026
@Unionhawk I could be okay with vegetarian some of the time, but I like meat too much to ever consider going veggie

user20683
11:30 PM
@spugsley fish is good for you and hard to replace. Some nuts work but not all.

And... bacon and red meat too, I guess, but, details

@AshleyNunn I like red meat a lot but with recent lady issue diagnoses, it's just not a healthy option for me anymore :(

user15026
@spugsley Yeah, I saw your post, and I totes get that

user15026
I am just lucky and none of my health issues are diet-affecting

ATTENTION BRIDGE FOLK
I HEREBY DECLARE THAT I AM AMAZING
AND, BY EXTENSION, SO ARE ALL OF YOU FOR KNOWING ME
THAT IS ALL

user15026
11:35 PM
@Wipqozn We already knew that

PLEASE RETURN TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED BRIDGE ACTIVITIES
Also I can't decide fi I should play EOIV or SC2. It's terrible.

@Wipqozn NO

Q: How do I leave the Product Storage area?

PowerlordHow do I shut down the lockdown so I can leave the Product Storage area? Presumably, I need to simulate a leak in the Product Storage room, but the game isn't letting me use the Neural Drill on anything in the room. My current inventory is: High Speed Neural Drill, Full Hypodermic Syringe (fill...

@Lazers2.0 huh, I didn't realize @Powerlord had an ccount again.
@Powerlord deletes and recreates his account so often it's hard to keep track.

I think he just did it once, sir

11:37 PM
@Unionhawk There was at least one occasion where he made a new account just to post an answer, and then immediately deleted it.

Well, he's had an account since, like, last year
Where have you been

@Unionhawk NONE OF YOU BUSINESS
YOU'RE NOT MY REAL DAD
YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO
YOU'RE NOT EVEN A DAD

@spugsley if you are going vegetarian/vegan, learn to make indian food. since a lot of it is vegetarian already, it's not like "make a regular dinner except for the meat", it is actually a full meal without meat involved

@GodEmperorDune This is very good advice.

@GodEmperorDune mmmm I love Indian fooooooood
need to learn to make it myself

11:41 PM
MAn, now I want Indian Food

@Wipqozn thankfully indeed

user15026
@GodEmperorDune So much of indian food I want to like, but then it just has things I don't like in, like cilantro and other flavours that make my stomach/mouth sad

@spugsley once you have the spice mixes down it's pretty straightforward
@AshleyNunn yeah sorry about your thing with cilantro, it's in so much of that region's cuisine

user15026
@GodEmperorDune I knooooooow, and it makes me SO SAD

user15026
because I WANT TO LIKE IT

11:44 PM
@AshleyNunn you can probably do some sort of lentil curry without cilantro

user15026
OH, also @spugsley, this blog is run by one of my favourite people (okay it's @ToxicFrog's wife) and there are totally a bunch oif vegetarian things in it (some of which I have eaten!) and she's good at food.

user15026
(Seriously I love it they feed me so many fooooods)

I think you can do without coriander

@AshleyNunn :D Ah neat! Yay thankeis!

I think I have that genetic marker that makes it taste absolutely horrible to me, though I'm not sure if anyone else in my family has it

user15026
11:45 PM
@PrivatePansy Theoretically, yes, if I cook it myself, but I am so turned off by my experiences with it as a thing I just can't.

Oh, also O_o if any of you guys have Amazon Prime - Hand of God on prime streaming was freaking amazing

> Coriander is common in South Asian, Southeast Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, Caucasian, Central Asian, Mediterranean, Tex-Mex, Latin American, Brazilian, Portuguese, Chinese and African cuisine.
umm, what else is there?

user15026
@GodEmperorDune Its EVERYWHERE

@GodEmperorDune Eastern Europe? North Asia?

11:54 PM
@murgatroid99 pretty much, yeah

Also, countries in South America that aren't Brazil
