Well, recently finished Kirby: Triple Deluxe.

It's surprisingly challenging for a Kirby game.

The level design seems to be dominated by environmental hazards like lava, spikes, and Springy Hands, more so than the other Kirby games I've played over the years.

I cannot shake the feeling that some of this is influenced by Dark Souls.

Anyone else here familiar with Kirby: Triple Deluxe? The level design has kept me on my toes throughout the game, which isn't what I expected for Kirby.

This might be because I've been pushing for the Sun Stones (95 of 100 so far), but it's still unexpected for me.

I will say that playing to any% completion is pretty easy.

The final boss, however, proved to be exceedingly difficult to do correctly, at least the first time around.

It might have to do with the way I play, but what I'm saying just seems to be at odds with what reviewers have said.
