To be frank, if I could get a functional replacement for my eyes with added video recording and optionally IR/low-light nightvision equipment, my left eye would be so gone, no matter how gruesome the operation would be. The natural one I have sucks badly anyway, totally screwed up vision.

@BenBrocka Yeah, which is why some TAS encoders solve the issue by uploading a video that's basically pre-scaled up to 4k or something silly

so that when YouTube scales the video back down, each pixel is exactly right

yeah I upscale to 720 and it's usually fine. If HDD space on my end wasn't a concern I'd upload at the highest res I could too

I don't think Camtasia goes much about 1080 though

You "just" need to get a pixel-perfect original at the native resolution and then (somehow) scale it up with nearest neighbour to 4k (or 2k or whatever) later

If they don't add 60 FPS soonish I might be looking for other software, but with Vegas/Final Cut both being several hundred dollars more I'll probably stick with it for now
