The game is like a cross between Heroes of Might and Magic and Civilization. It's a turn-based 4X Game focused primarily on warfare, with tactical turn based combat (like XCOM).

You start by choosing a class and race for your leader, which will determine the units your empire can use. You start off with one city, but can gain more either through conquest, diplomacy, or by building them. You produce units and buildings in cities, and cost a money + time (i.e. this unit will take 50 gold + 2 turns to make).

Oh, and units level up too, with their levle being referred t as their rank.

Heroes are an exception, since they have actual levels. Heroes are unique units, which you could think of as the leaders of your army.

The goal is to be the last man standing, basically. You can form alliances with other players, but if they're not allied with you the you'll need to kill them to win.

It seems that a unit can rank up four times (not counting heroes). Their stats increase at every rank up, and it seems at every second rank up (i.e. Rank 3 and 5) they gain some additional ability. For example, I have ranged units which gain the ability to inflict poison at Rank 3.

Q: why have my bitizens skill levels changed

in the beginning of the game i made sure to evict bitizens with low skill level only keeping 9's and 8's. and now i have noticed that most if not all of my bitizens have a decreased skill level some even down to 0. Why is this happening?
