The point, really, is that music theory isn't a set of rules for how to make music, it's a set of rules for how to describe music. And you don't even need to follow those rules to effectively describe music, unless you're trying to very specifically describe the sort of things that music theory is designed to discuss.

For the most part, when people pay to attend concerts, they assume that the performer they're going to see is performing with their natural ability. There's an ethical dilemma when it comes to using pitch correction. And for anyone who says it isn't being used there, an article from 2003 mentioned pitch correction appearing in concert settings.

@LessPop_MoreFizz There's nothing dishonest about using tools, if you disclose you are using those tools. The common perception about musicians is that their performances are natural talent. By not disclosing use of pitch correction, you are, in effect, lying to your consumers.

If the next Joshua Radin album comes out with a disclaimer that says "Hey, we used pitch correction here", I wouldn't care. I like his music and that doesn't bother me. What would bother me is if, a few years down the road, he comes out and says, "Yeah, all that music? I used Autotune."

Well, in that case, I admit that I don't know just how effective pitch correction currently is. My issue, however, doesn't have anything to do with the level of sophistication or technology. Perhaps, pitch correction software isn't as extreme as I picture it in my head. That doesn't mean it won't get there someday. Once pitch correction is sophisticated enough for those cases, I guess we'll have another argument about the ethics of using it.

After first beating Malthael in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, I received 3 legendary drops. Reaper's Wraps Reaper's Fear A legendary pair of boots that dropped probably because I was lucky. While I'm fairly certain that the boots were a random drop, I don't think I could get as lucky to get Reap...

Q: Can I place marker on map using Companion App?

While you can place a marker by opening iDroid in-game and pressing circle button on the map (PS3, Japanese version), I have yet to find a way to do this via the Companion App. Have anyone figured out how to do it?
