What I discovered with my regular programmable was that it saved us money until we had kids. Now the house is occupied and heated 24-7 and you can't turn the heat down at night because the babies will freeze. Throwing out my 1960s furnace for a high efficiency made a much bigger difference.

I think most "internet of things" devices aren't really going to be that appealing until the added cost is almost negligible, maybe 20% not 200% more than a normal device

@OrigamiRobot Each room has those floorboard heat things along one wall, with a dial on the wall to control how hot you want that room to be. I guess they're like really terrible manual thermostats.

They give no information, though; it's just a dial where you can point it at a number.

@BenBrocka Yeah, we had this in college too. They were mandated by law to turn air conditioning off at some set date and on at another set date. My roommate and I had a combined 2 computers, 6 monitors, refrigerator, and projector in the room, so our room was like a sauna during those edge months surrounding winter.

The answers problem is that they are dying too much due to lack of healing. The only reason the wanbt more lifegems is because they need more healing items.

So I addressed that real question: How to get more healing items.

In fact this is exactly why we always ask for as much details as possible.

sometimes a use rhas a problem, and assumes "x must be the solution. How do I do X?"

whereas the problem is really Y, and if they gave us more details we'd know that and be able to give a good and detailed answer to their full problem.

@Wipqozn I apologize if I came across as offensive, it was absolutely not my intention. I agree completely with that, which is why I was asking for clarification as to when we should abandon what the user actually asks for what they are trying to ask. @LessPop_MoreFizz Project Cygnus can be played without a microphone if you prefer, you can just select actions on the screen. I tried it out, pretty neat. It is $2.99 to get all the missions though, it's just a demo for free pretty much.

Hi me and my sister want to be in the same world on minecraft pe version 8.1. I have tried everything! I can't make an account on realms Alfa because it won't let me. I don't know how to get the port and IP address. I think it has something to do with our wifi. Please help!
