I was wondering, since Raiden's strength is based mostly on his cyborg body capabilities, why does he have a standard cyborg body in the prologue? Why hasn't the game started directly with the custom cyborg body?
Purple Gear is always more expensive due to being more rare (which is imho debatable when sold by a vendor, but that just as a side note).
Both, orange and purple items allow modifications to change their rating, aka item level.
