@BenBrocka This is what confuses me as well. Clearly they're saving space by not keeping empty blocks after the name, so why bother saving the name with the trainer pokemon at all?

I don't think a trainer pokemon has ever had a nickname ingame

Q: Will two rooms crossing diagonally count as one room?

If I build two bedrooms like this: WWWWWWW WWOOODW WOWWWWW WOWWWWW WOWWWWW WDWWWWW WWWWWWW W - Wall, O - Empty Space, D - Door Will these rooms treat as one? Will two dwarves sleeping here think they are sleeping with others?

The exceptions to that are far and few between.

It's possible the branch made the code too big.

Because the tutorial has the name OLD MAN, the game needs to store your name somewhere.

It does this in the memory area that normally has what pokemon appear.

@BenBrocka basically when you do the tutorial the game stores your name in some unused data (the bit where it says what random pokemon appear)

Normally this gets overwritten as soon as you go into a new area with pokemon

Then you go to that area which has a bug where it doesn't have any wild pokemon that can appear and thus does not reset the list of available pokemon

But the area on the right of the island doesn't have any data.

So it uses whatever the last data was.

That's why you can fly from the safari zone and catch safari pokemon there.

The increased items is because the pokedex uses 128 for "seen" and 255 for "caught" and Missingno's pokedex "entry" just happens to be the memory location for the 6th item.

So important lesson in Banished:

Make sure your woodcutters have a steady supply of wood.

Freezing to death tends not to affect just a few of your people.

Q: Cant start Bank Heist

I am trying to start the Bank Heist mission in Thief so I go to the gate where you start the mission, I enter it, it loads and then when its done loading I am back at the gate and if I enter it again it loads, and Im back at the gate again.. Someone who has this problem?

@badp For reference, what they're doing here is bringing all the underused skills in the game to be in line with all the most-used skills. Instead of nerfing the most-used skills. This makes players happier and accomplishes the same thing.

It's mind games.

I like them all on paper.

Wizards aren't going to be about spamming the same spell over and over, but about performing their combo.

It's still going to be a standard rotation, but it makes it more interesting.
