Well I'm not sure in this case the game tag is relevant - the question is more along the lines of how should people act on voice communications. The game this is in reference to is Natural Selection 2, but I think it applies to most fast paced games in general.

Like, I'm personally fine with stuff about how to handle guild management UI crap or tools ingame, I think that is perfectly reasonable, but I'm just unsure where the line is here in expertise.

@SimonL It's somewhat hard for me to judge, as I don't play Eve, but I feel like it's specific enough not to warrant a "too broad" closing at least. I think. It's hard for me to judge because I don't know exactly how much can be said that is Eve-specific. I'm a co-guild leader of a very small multi-gaming guild, so for example, I could answer it with information that is game-agnostic, but then that starts leading into the territory that I'm not sure entirely fits here.

@FAE Eve, unlike most other MMOs, has a lot of players in it that do a lot of bad things that are normally not allowed. Lie, cheat and steal are not only allowed in Eve but encouraged in some forms.

There are websites belligerentundesirables.com ,that are dedicated to doing this to other players.

The developers just sent me a free copy off the record.

But Namco bought the rights and then tanked the distribution

Which is a shame because it's an awesome game.

Q: Is there a benefit to deactivating a MegaShield after an outpost has been cleared?

So I've cleared some outposts and I'm wondering what the purpose of the megashield is after it's been cleared. The narrator explains that megashields can be deactivated to attract blood dragons to help clear an outpost, but after the outpost has been cleared, is there any point?
