Hmmm. Strange thing in Cookie Clicker. Achievements say I have 2 to go. Game code lists 3 I'm missing. In the achievement section, the two I'm missing are present and greyed. This implies that the third is a shadow achievement, but there's no reason for it to be. This extra achievement is for clicking 77 golden cookies and falls perfectly in line with the 1,7, and 27 golden cookie achievements.

Personally, I just leave them alone. I don't have a problem with duplicate answers so long as they are not identical. Just because an answer covers the same information does not make it bad, but if it doesn't add anything, then it probably should have been an edit or comment on the previously existing answer of the same.

As for flags, a lot of 'duplicate answers' are just wordy 'me too, this worked for me' answers that ought to be deleted, or deserve deletion because they aren't just redundant, but full of poor writing and spelling and generally just not good, and expecting someone in the community to spend effort to fix them when there is actual valuable content that needs fixing seems silly and wasteful. That said, I cast delete votes. Not flags.

Similarly age of the dupe answer plays a role - if it's months old, and getting flagged by someone who's doing a cleanup, and the anon poster of the dupe answer has never returned, what's the harm of deleting it and cleaning up the site?

I think we get a little bit too paranoid about driving away people who were never going to (or in some cases, never have!) come back anyway sometimes.

Q: How can I get around the Raid Boss time limit?
