Q: Witcher 2 won't start

When I try launch Witcher 2, it gives me an error that says "Failed to start game (missing executable). I've tried verifying the game cache.

At the beginning of the game, when you arrive on 4th Echelon, there is a phone where you can call your daughter Sarah. After this there is an info box that say you can call Sarah after each mission that you go on, to keep in touch. What happens if you don't call Sarah during the game?

On Warframe, what happens if you are left behind during the extraction when the timer runs out? On a VOID KEY mission, all that happened was that I lost the money reward, but what happens on a normal mission? Is it the same, or do you not get anything at all and it is considered a mission fail?

@StrixVaria The first several episodes are maybe 2 or 3 times as hard as just getting into orbit. Actually landing on Tylo will be about 10 times as hard as landing on Mun, and that says nothing about getting off Tylo

@somequixotic Nexus 4 is unlocked, cheaper due to Google's subsidization, and doesn't have an AMOLED screen or funny proprietary software.

I think it's just meant to show guns and explosions and a tank blowing up and a shield.

the way I see it, cheeses are still valid strats (it's possible to deny many of them; so don't whine about being cheesed and just play better), but don't be a sore loser if your cheese fails and act like the other guy's somehow a bad player for denying you.

and I was referring to the subset of players who cheese since thy don't know how else ot play.

@AnnaLear My views on cheeses have always been that they are a valid strategy, but that new players shouldn't use them. They don't actually help you learn the mechanics of the game. A lot of cheeses required you to invest at the start of the game for them to succeed, giving you no time to scout. They also result in you never improving your macro, as well as your micro. You don't learn timings or anythin really.

@Wipqozn Yeah, if your cheese fails, you're likely screwed. I'm terrible at SC2 (though I'm practicing) and I find that once in a while doing a cheese instead of a proper build is just kinda fun.

@AnnaLear And by the time a cheeser hit the point that they can't just cheese everybody anymore, they'lll be hopelessly outmatched since your opponents actually have a grasp of the foundations of good play, and the cheeser doesn't.

I don't know any kind of macro and don't even know where to begin when trying to set something like that up. I truly believe that I would fail to even achieve something as rudimentary as cheese. I understand the mechanics and min-maxing, but in real-time I usually fall apart because I'm just not fast enough.
